What the coronavirus does to your body that makes it so deadly
The conversation ^ | April 2, 2020 | Prof Benjamin Neuman

How the virus infects Every coronavirus infection starts with a virus particle, a spherical shell that protects a single long string of genetic material and inserts it into a human cell. The genetic material instructs the cell to make around 30 different parts of the virus, allowing the virus to reproduce. The cells that SARS-CoV-2 prefers to infect have a protein called ACE2 on the outside that is important for regulating blood pressure.

Scariest part is it can be brewing for up to 30 days inside body before symptoms appear.

This explains the lightheadedness I experienced both during and AFTER the illness in spite of a glaring lack of breathing difficulties. Interesting.

I hadn’t experienced anything like it since before I resolved my Thyroid issues (a systemic hormonal imbalance).

Reinforcing my hypothesis to eradicate the virus before pulmonary damage is wrought:

” Millions of cells from the immune system invade the infected lung tissue and cause massive amounts of damage in the process of cleaning out the virus and any infected cells.”

AFAIK a virus can bind to just about ANY tissue. So when you have it in your meninges, you get meningitis. In the brain itself, encephalitis and coma. Obviously it replicates in Pulmonary tissue, I would not doubt for a moment it replicates in renal tissue, loaded with ACE receptors. Which is why people present with decompensation and rapid deterioration from multi organ failure.

The scariest part is that they’re not giving these sick people meds. If they have a fever/sore throat and a simple test says they have it....give them the meds. Since when don’t we treat sick people?

The doctors who have been using the Chloroquine regimen have been saying to use it as soon as possible and screw the compassionate use guidelines. By then its almost too late.

Blame some of it on mal-practice laws. Doctors are probably afraid of proscribing drugs which have not undergone the formal trials for treatment for a specific disease with a certain medication.

No problem. The article seems to have more details on how this virus causes damage, especially lungs, but also other vital organs.

Let’s be honest & clear about this:

It’s “so deadly” only to those with impaired health, most of whom have made poor choices which compound to further-impaired health in advanced years...people who otherwise would have died of their poor choices years-prior were it not for a perverse medical system which prefers “treatment” to “cure” (the latter not being profitable).

No apologies for the blunt assessment. An honest person would concede my point has more than mere tacit validity; it is, ironically, the gist of the bulk of my 4th book volume.

As UN-PC as it will be even to some here, the reality is that this is a culling of sorts...a reality-check for those who engage in destructive lifestyles and expect a pill, powder or elixir to mitigate the damage. I’ve been watching the trend for weeks: The virus has been, to-date, far more destructive in industrialized countries.

I do not believe that this is merely coincidental or related to “testing.” We are just fortunate that our children are thus-far wholly-spared the ravages of a “Spanish Flu-like” over-population culling, the likes of which many globalists would prefer to occur sooner than later and the primary driver of conspiracy-theories on this outbreak.

In contrast to the hysterical press - including the tone of this article - the absolute tragedy of it all measured NOT in death, but in the proverbial pendulum which is shortly to become a literal hammer to our way of life.

I, for one, will NOT comply. Forcefully, if necessary.

Dumb question: If someone is taking “ACE inhibitor” blood pressure medicine, does it make a difference whether or not they catch Wuhan Flu?

That is a very good question, unfortunately it is above my pay grade to answer correctly. I am taking Lisinopril low dose and now making sure to not forget taking my pill every morning LOL.

Great, that it is now approved by the FDA. That should provide a shield for doctors to prescribe it. I am a bit surprised I have not caught this virus after a cruise in last week of February and so many visits to crowded stores and restaurants since returning. But now I am home bound for a few weeks.
