Nearly 100 more Big Apple residents died from the coronavirus since Sunday morning, raising the city’s death toll to 776, according to city data.
From 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., the city tallied 98 more deaths and 1,166 more coronavirus cases, meaning 33,474 people in the city have now been infected with the illness.
Queens, in that time-frame, remained the hardest-hit borough with 10,737 cases.
Brooklyn has the second most cases at 8,887, followed by the Bronx at 6,250, Manhattan at 5,582 and Staten Island with 1,984.
Mayor de Blasio earlier Sunday warned the city will be in the throes of the virus for quite some time to come.
“We will go through a really tough, tough journey,” the mayor said at a press briefing.
“April will be worse than March, and I fear that May could even be worse than April,” he said. “We’re going to be in for weeks of this.”
Gov. Cuomo on Sunday extended mandatory business closures until at least April 15 to cope with the pandemic.
Several hours later, President Trump extended the federal social distancing guidelines to April 30.

You would have to do some calculus to estimate the projected plot’s total death toll. I give a link that shows some numbers from the statisticians:
NYC is loaded with Third Worlders and illegals. Many live with extended or multiple families to a dwelling. I can’t see anything short of a vaccine fixing NYC. I wouldn’t get near a subway carriage there.
Look at the average the last week.
I’m not going to trust Sunday’s numbers until Monday afternoon has given an opportunity for revisions and corrections.

As to when NYC reaches the peak and when the USA reaches the peak - it would be 3 to 4 weeks after lockdown was taken seriously.
If your point is that it’s up I am aware of that. The same thing occurs during the flu season. It starts slow, builds to a peak and then tapers off.
Zinc is the key imo. High blood pressure meds lowers zinc. Zinc deficiency causes loss of taste and smell which is a symptom often mentioned. Zinc inhibits the virus from multiplying. Trump got enough of the hydroxyquloroquine donated. The hydroxyquloroquine helps get the zinc in the cells. This is a game changer. Italy is starting to use it. In the meantime we can all supplement with Zinc.
Its a crime how the deep state politicians are trying to stop these life saving drugs.
Zinc deficiency is killing us. These patients need zinc in their cells. Hydroxyquloroquine gets zinc in the cells. Easy to look this up. Protein meals help us absorb zinc sulfate. We should be taking zinc as a preventative imo.
I guess that many will be trying to catch up on reporting numbers during the weeks or months to come. Even admin medical people will be getting tired.
I guess not trusting them until the revisions are complete is a good answer. Their latest correction is 264, which is down from the 277 deaths, Saturday.
A note - cities have always been the hotbeds of plagues/epidemics. As you say, people living close to each other.
However that is also true for small towns of today.
Only farm life will have enough distance from people to escape this

Sorry. I just gave you 264 deaths, which is the U.S. daily deaths for Sunday. World Meter still shows 82 deaths for New York on Sunday.

Zinc! I am also taking lots of Vitamins C, D and K2 which is a companion to D and good for heart health. Look up the D-K2 combo. I get both from NOW Foods via Amazon, Swanson, Ebay etc.
The Vit C I take is the buffered form of C as magnesium ascorbate. You get 8oz for about $12...NOW Foods makes this, prolly supplied by Commie China.
Actually that’s a rate of close to 400 a day—and they are still clearly on the upswing.
So about doubling all deaths in the City now and presumably will go well beyond that.
The continued minimization here is disgusting.

The zinc sulfates are mostly out of stock at Amazon at least. Ebay did not give up much except for gardening and not pure enough to consume.
