Was he looking John Deere Green before he passed?
RIP
Of of the best 1990s era country songs.
Oh, no!! He was sooo good. R.I.P., Joe Diffie.
Was studying to be a Doctor and decided to be a country music star instead.
Will they prop him up by the juke box?
What!? Sad. RIP Joe
Not sure I understand what they mean?
I guess they’ll be propping him up beside the jukebox now...

I never hear of Joe Diffie. I googled.
His descent into alcoholism and drugs .... that is the first thing google returns on Joe Diffie.
It reinforces my points on other threads. Bad lifestyle is an individual choice. It has consequences. The predator looks to catch the weak members of the herd first.
Back in the day, Diffie was hitting on Liz Allison, Daveys widow, about 5 minutes after Davey was buried.
I assume complications means he had something like an underlying condition. RIP
61 is a bit early.
My favorite was “Third Rock from the Sun”.
Great country voice!! I bet the Devil is not dancing in his empty pockets today
In the 1980s, Michael Jordan was averaging 35 points per game for the Chicago Bulls. One night, he scored 58 points. Jordan’s teammate, Will Perdue, who scored 2 points that game, proclaimed to the media that “Michael Jordan and I combined for 60 points.” I bring up this story, b/c all of these sketchy stories about people dying OF the China Virus seem to be front and center in the media. So far, there have been at least 5 debunked stories about people who allegedly died BECAUSE OF the virus, only later to find out that they tested negative or suffered a death that was completely UNRELATED to a viral infection. This country musician was a NOTORIOUS drug and alcohol abuser. To paraphrase Will Perdue, “35 years of drug use, alcohol abuse, hard-living COMBINED with the China Virus caused his death.”
Big loss. He was in concert in Central WA this summer. Just before the Ellensberg Rodeo. That’s something my daughter and I do every year.
Soooo hoping its going to happen this year. For me, that Rodeo has become as important and healing as baseball is each year. I love Cowboy Church on Sunday morning. Justin McKee. Nobody calls a rodeo like Justin McKee, and JJ Harrison is a hell of a clown.
I always liked his song “Home”. RIP.
Well, I didn’t even remember who he was, but rest easy country crooner.
