61 is a bit early.

Boy is a depressing country music song going to be written about this.

Just play it backwards, you'll get your wife, your dog and your truck back.

My favorite was “Third Rock from the Sun”.

Agreed, and it was a very good album at that too.

In the 1980s, Michael Jordan was averaging 35 points per game for the Chicago Bulls. One night, he scored 58 points. Jordan’s teammate, Will Perdue, who scored 2 points that game, proclaimed to the media that “Michael Jordan and I combined for 60 points.” I bring up this story, b/c all of these sketchy stories about people dying OF the China Virus seem to be front and center in the media. So far, there have been at least 5 debunked stories about people who allegedly died BECAUSE OF the virus, only later to find out that they tested negative or suffered a death that was completely UNRELATED to a viral infection. This country musician was a NOTORIOUS drug and alcohol abuser. To paraphrase Will Perdue, “35 years of drug use, alcohol abuse, hard-living COMBINED with the China Virus caused his death.”

I’d say that the nineties were the last gasp before it died.
It probably peaked in the fifties and was revitalized by the baladeers who came along and revitalized it in the mid-sixties through early seventies.

I’ll stick with my Massey Ferguson red.

International Harvester as my 2nd choice.

Allis Chalmers orange 3rd.

Never cared for Deere.

Country music was good to me up until the very end of the 80s.

I enjoy the classic vintage stuff on XM sometimes.

Big loss. He was in concert in Central WA this summer. Just before the Ellensberg Rodeo. That’s something my daughter and I do every year.

Soooo hoping its going to happen this year. For me, that Rodeo has become as important and healing as baseball is each year. I love Cowboy Church on Sunday morning. Justin McKee. Nobody calls a rodeo like Justin McKee, and JJ Harrison is a hell of a clown.

“I assume complications means he had something like an underlying condition. RIP”

Based upon current photos he was severely obese. Most likely diabetes and HBP for starters. Maybe some heart failure mixed in.

We’ve hit the point where nobody will die with corona. They’ll all die of it because the money is in the Wu Flu now.
