But here’s a stat I worked out a while back. Prior to the travel bans to everywhere, more people flew across the Atlantic in a week than were sent to Europe during the entire war (WWI).

The Sad thing President Trump does not believe this is just a flu. I am sure he can not be pressure to destroy the economy to be re-elected. President Trump does not use polls to make important decisions.

From the anecdotal evidence it looks like CCP-19 kicks what ever you already have going on into a higher gear. If you have an overactive immune system - cytokine storm. Or your diabetes kills you 10 years sooner. Or your heart disease does. Or if you are simply immune compromised CCP-19 does the job itself.
Such a bizarre disease. All these extra deaths, regardless of the actual event (heart attack, stroke, renal failure, etc.) should be attributed to CCP-19.
Like the 16x normal deaths in Italy. They only attribute 4x to CCP-19, but then, why are people dying 12x as fast from everything else?
I doubt we’ll ever get real answers. Not any time soon, anyway.

With many excellent efforts at containment in parts of the country, and mediocre efforts in other parts of the country, the forces driving the US numbers are very complex and not meaningful to look at in total.
Statistics are only helpful to people who understand the explanations for the data.
They only make sense one area at a time.
That is the big mistake the flu bros make. Understanding complex data requires careful analysis and reasoning. Without that you are left with meaningless debating points—spin.
