Ok, so Trump was being nice and calm with the next 30 days. Some people need news delivered in that manner. I came away with the impression he has been told a lot more than he’s letting on and it’s very bad.
Mexican friend of mine living in a border town in Texas says they got a couple dozen infected already. Think he is near Edinburg. Off border a few miles.
No need to apologize for asking very relevant questions. I’m cautiously optimistic myself, because all countries on plot, except for Korea, show significant drops. A data reporting irregularity should only effect one or two countries. I check the EU data, and it also indicates a drop. Still, we should not get too excited, just yet.

In the first month starting from the first death in the US (a Mexican child) there were deaths in 7 states. The total for the first month was about 10-15 in those 7 states. [Sorry, the best graph I can find has a granularity of 50 on the vertical axis, so I have to estimate.]

We’ll be significantly less wealthy due to inflation and subject to much higher taxes. That will hurt every American, and Americans aren’t used to being hurt personally by events. IMO there will be 10% inflation for several years right after we come out of this. But Mexico will be pretty much the same as it is now.
Here is something my daughter just sent me concerning other possible steps to take:
Combating COVID-19 coronavirus
Coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID-19) is most dangerous to those who are immunocompromised, those over 60, and those who have cardiovascular disease (including hypertension), diabetes, hepatitis B, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic kidney disease, and cancer. Since a vaccine may be 1-2 years away, if you test positive for or have symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 (low-grade fever, sore throat, cough, headache, loss of sense of smell, diarrhea), here is what I recommend in terms of treatment:
Prescription oral hydroxychloroquine or nitazoxanide: Click here.
Intravenous vitamin C, artesunate, curcumin (solubilized in cyclodextrin), and melatonin: Click here, here, here, here, and here.

Regarding prevention, wash your hands often, cough into your elbow, don’t touch your face, maintain social-distancing of 6 feet from others, and take vitamin D3 (click here). And to prevent others from getting sick, if you feel sick, stay home and call your doctor.

This may prevent them from attaching and entering host cells, making infection and replication difficult (click here). The active ingredients in ThioDox increase intracellular glutathione levels. UPDATE: March 27, 2020: Some people quickly progress from symptoms to death. An American Airlines flight attendant died while awaiting the COVID-19 test results (click here). If you have symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, what should you do? Get tested, stay at home, wait for test results, and if positive, treat? Or, treat while awaiting test results? But, what if the test results come back negative? Do you stop treatment given that the test has a false-negative rate of 10-15% (click here)? If you have symptoms, I recommend treatment. Otherwise, you may risk death or organ damage.
UPDATE: March 28, 2020: Sneeze droplets have been found to travel up to 26 feet (click here). To be safe, does social-distancing need to be increased from 6 feet to >26 feet? Obviously, this is impractical and unenforceable. In my expert medical opinion, more emphasis should be put on treatment.
