I noticed that until today the number of recoveries in the US was very low compared to the number of deaths. It’s finally surpassed the number of deaths.
And there is something weird with Worldometer. Look at the number of daily deaths for the US.

It was on a steady increase, peaking at 525 on the 28th. But on the latest update, the number of daily deaths is 8.

All fiction is created to make a political or cultural point - except maybe porn. Often the script writers don’t even know they are doing it. But it looks like that movie was raw propaganda. I’ve never seen it.
But the bottom line is that only in movies are these things real.

we need to send people back to work with masks if neccessary.
If the bubonic plague like what we saw in the Medieval period happened tommorrow magically, we likely would bring it under control via killing rats and fleas really fast and have nowhere near the percent fatalities that Europe had back then.
The attack on the Trump was particularly vial because he said “ We don’t have any of those things. And really, that’s what we’ve always had in the past from the federal government. And I have to tell you, I miss it.”
With that bit of disinginuity he voided any respect I could have had for him. If he is that poor a judge of reality why would I trust anything he said?
