Within 24 hours, the symptoms came on with brutal speed: a soaring temperature, uncontrollable shaking, and sudden, extreme breathlessness

Perhaps cytokine storm? His immune system may have been *too* good...

so anecdotally...after reading there are just some many different symptoms for this you just have to watch your own body

for example,

today i got zombie limbs, headache, was really cold(and I run hot) and extremely tired..could barely move.

So I thought..here we go...do I have it? Let me take some zinc and quercetin and go to bed

Woke up and thought..nah...it is probably just my low LDH kicking in and messing up my body for the day

you have to know your body
know your symptoms

but still going to do a dose of my various protocols just in case.

I hate this SOB sneaky virus.

“The CDC declared “community spread” on Feb. 26th.”

This is a very important data point date. Today, we are at 31 days past that announcement and 14+ days into West Coast shelter-in-places, some self-imposed, some mandated. California just joined the 5K club but west coast states are running about 10% of NY/NYC. Going shelter in place after the community spread announcement seems to have worked to flatten infections. And you can’t say the west coast is behind NY, because we are first stop for mucho flights from Asia.

Had CCPChina not deployed pandas to raid the world for PPE and pandemic supplies over the 60 days prior to Feb 26, had they shared data they knew from Jan 2, had they not destroyed evidence, had they re-donated unused emergency supplies sent to them instead of selling them disguised as aid to the Silk Belt, even at 31 days the western world could have spit in the eye of this virus. And anybody who dares to say that America should have acted ‘faster’, can eat our shorts.

China lied. People died.

I don’t agree Cuomo won this round. If the virus continues to propagate outside NY, who gets the blame?

Also the CDC handed down the smack down which takes the politics out of it. Let’s see how it goes. Plus really how would the quarantine be enforced?

Just one data point.

On February 26 the CDC should have publicly announced that there was an emergency mask shortage throughout the country.

They should have asked every American to start making their own masks following instructions like we have seen on the web.

Instead they chose to lie and pretend that masks don’t save lies.

China may have created the problem, but that is not an excuse for CDC not telling the truth and getting everyone to chip in to help fix it.

“China lied. People died.”

Any neutral outside observer, without education, could see what was happening in China.

At minimum, Jan 23d lock down of 53 million people was the tell.

Only the willfully ignorant ignored it.

The same way TSA does something. It's all "pretend".
"And, from your link, POTUS says it would be for a ‘short time, only’ and, that he ‘would not shut down the NYC subway’.

How would this even do anyting?"

This is a key point. There are many Chinese who travel to Japan and the problem there is not as rampant as here. Why? The Japanese routinely wear masks and have them with them at all times. They are also sold in every Lawson, 7/11, or Family Mart over there.

Do you think Cuomo will get the blame?

Nope...Trump, or whichever Gov where these fleeing NY/NJ/CTers go to will, especially if it’s a red state.

A quarantine - would involve road blocks, in every direction.

But, you’re right...let’s see how the CDC ‘smack down’ goes.

Either way...they’ll still try to blame POTUS :..(

LOL

How many Americans have coronavirus? New Reuters poll might offer a hint

In the nationwide poll, 2.3% of Americans surveyed said they've been diagnosed with the coronavirus, a percentage that could translate to several million people.

Of course, it's impossible to know if the answers are a result of misinformed self-diagnoses, untested professional diagnoses or test-confirmed infections.

The best way to solve a difficult problem is to find a way that everyone can contribute, make it a team effort, and if a national effort make it a call to patriotism.

If that was done a month ago we would have had more masks than we knew what to do with...many of them may not have looked great or done a super job, but Americans would felt good about themselves and the data would look a whole lot better than it does now.

Freepers would be proudly wearing MAGA masks instead of spouting crazy Flu Bro nonsense.

IMO this year’s Nobel Peace Prize should go to everyone who served as operational medical staff in Hubei Province, China, during period January 1, 2020, to April 30, 2020.

You're actually the reason I'm posting them daily, iirc. :)

I'm about to post the graph, in a few, to another Freeper. The condensed worldofmeters table, I'll probably wait until tomorrow to post on the new thread.

If you know where I can get access to hospital adminssions/releases data, I'll do my best to add it.

Like former independent contractor nurses in California who are not employable due to a stupid new law here, and who are getting offers from out-of-state hospitals.

I think the difference between CA and NY is equally about what NY did wrong as what CA did right. Polar opposite approach and attitude. CA failed on many levels, but NY was a complete “flu bro”. Everything is fine! Ride the subway! Eat at restaurants! Come on down to Times Square! Come to the Chinese New Year Parade!

Latest... UK and US deaths still doubling every three days or so. Italy, France, Spain, and S. Korea, all a little lower. Overall, not much change from yesterday.

Daily percentage of new Corona virus deaths to previous day's total by country. 25% = total deaths double every 3 days, 20% = every 4 days, 15% = ever 5 days.

Data from https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries.
