I am going to a local Nebraska State Park.
Since my trip to Alaska got cancelled already (and it was booked for June!) I’m going to Alaska, dammit. Come hell or high water.
Back to Cruising the World!!!
...or maybe, instead, driving around the country a bit.
“I’m going to Disneyland!”
I’m going to go out for a delicious breakfast at Zeus restaurant in Lansing, Michigan.
Fish in OBX ... on my list too. Do you surf, pier, offshore fish or all?
Good for you.
I will be making a list with the names of the Flubros and Flubras and writing a vanity post congratulating us on correctly calling this Coronavirus no worse than the flu.
I will also be making a list of Fearpers and writing an additional vanity post calling them out for their dire and incorrect predictions.
Other than some places closed, I would operate about the same.
I really don’t need the masses of people.
I have to think about it. This is one of several things over past year or so that have caused me to rethink priorities. The silly stuff and lots of stupid worries evaporate, when you’re forced to think seriously about death.
I’m going to get my Harley out of my brother’s garage, charge it up, and go for a ride.I might not stop until I get to Key West. Only 2000 miles!
Though of course, certain exceptions can always be made...
Back to gym, and live music bars.
I had my right hip replaced on Monday, outpatient, direct anterior method. Because of the physical nature of my job I won’t be cleared to go back to work until mid-June. Over the winter I purchased a new bass boat. So, yes, despite the pandemic, all my plans are falling into place.
I’ll take what I can get.
Just pier fish now...I lost a leg 10 years ago and the pier is easiest for me...
(Being from East Tennessee, I used to spend a LOT of time trout fishing in the Smokies)
Or toilet paper.
I’m going to ask a favor. Go to the Cliff House and have dinner. Drive out to Land’s End, and take a pic of the Golden Gate and post it here. We were there in late September, and it’s just about the most fabulous view there is in the world.
Walk around the USS San Francisco Memorial and talk to the ghost of Admiral Callahan. Tell him abb said thanks for what he bought for us with his blood.
Hitting the Launchpad Brewery.
Moving to Key West earlier than I thought... I’m done working after this - I’ve learned many folks(not me) are non-essential...
