The Trump administration has been implementing their strategy to combat the damage done to the health of the economy during the current coronavirus crisis. ABC News reported on President Trump’s most recent “Coronavirus Guidelines for America”, a letter to the nation’s governors highlighting the strategies and goals of the the next 15 days.

Sure enough, we’re now hearing about “millions” of face masks suddenly turning up in California, after Atty Genl. Barr threatened to go after hoarders.
Last week, I cancelled my regular 6 mos checkup, figuring a clinic among sick people is not where I wanted to be.
I then got a callback from a clinic nurse, just checking to make sure I’m ok & assuring me regular checkups & prescription renews can be done by phone.
That’s the way we do it in Tinytown.
Michigan’s county numbers are extremely different from county to county: our county borders Wayne county and we have 21 cases which I suspect are in areas bordering Wayne Co. Wayne County ALONE has about 1400 cases, almost half of the total for the whole state. Macomb and Oakland counties are high, too. Some counties still have none.
How will they they keep those counties with so many cases under control and away from us without a statewide shutdown?

Easter is 3 weeks away. There has to be an end to the knee jerk panic mongering and some rational thoughtful thinking done for a change. This panic stricken “we have to make sure there is no possible risk to anyone ever where ever before we can open again” nonsense being screamed for partisan political reason must end.
We cannot close down the US Economy for months. There has to be SOME rational thought and calculated risk taken finally before the professional politicians, and their fake news toadies, trigger Great Depression 2.0 with their panic and reckless fear mongering.

Easter is 3 weeks away. 96% of the cases are mild, 4% critical. There is 80.000 cases national wide. The US has a population of 331.000.000.

Counties with high scores (i.e. those that have done the best to comply with social distancing to limit the spread) and who are not close to outbreak areas should be the first to get back to normal, with new guidelines that maintain the same preventive measures.

My Cardiologist, Pain Management, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and General Practitioner doctors all sent emails and left voicemails that all appointments going forward are via telemedicine.
That means they'll call me for my appointment, talk to me over the phone to talk about how I'm doing, refill prescriptions and make any medication adjustments necessary based on those telemedicine appointments.
I'm telling you right now: the future is telemedicine. Skype, Zoom, whatever they choose to use, office visits for all but the most necessary appointments are dead going forward.
