There has been a ton of anecdotal evidence supporting the efficacy of these medications so I don’t get why the Mail piece was even written.

Fauci is considered A God to those in health care and around AIDS patients. The cure, a once a day pill that costs $50 a dose is a prophylaxis. The same is going to happen with the Chinese virus. No need to cure it, just take a once a day pill. Of course to afford this, we will need medicare for all.

I think the takeaway is that it is an old story that anti malarials are used to treat some of these viruses.
