The aquarium additive is "a form of " Chloroquine the same as Oxygen is a form of Sulphiric Acid. They are not even close to being similar in any way, shape or form. And I know a thing or two about Chloroquine, having taken plenty of Chloroquine tablets to treated malaria about 40 years ago when I was in Africa.

you’re wrong there, look up chloroquine phosphate and you’ll see it’s the exact same chemical used to treat malaria.

Chloroquine has a narrow therapeutic margin of safety. Overdosing is very easy to do and dangerous.

Those who self medicate leave themselves open to getting it wrong. This is a perfect example of that. So only do so when a physician prescribes it. Just because the item has a name that is similar does not mean it will do the same job.

While it is helpful that they report on this, they then failed by not putting out the fact that what President Trump is talking about is not the same as what this couple decided to take.
