I pay $1600 per month for healthcare as a small business owner to cover my wife and two kids I still have at home.
Next month, I will not send the premium.
If I needed healthcare right now, there'd be none. So why am I paying?
Besides, when I needed an MRI for a ruptured achilles, the Hospital charged me $3600 and only covered $1600 of it. When I got a hernia, they said it was cosmetic...
When I needed an xray, the only thing the doctor really cared about, was me taking a colin test, poop test.... I told him to stuff it, because I know that is a scam and I'll magically have "curable cancer".
Kaiser Permanente...Group Health... F/&i!!!!!!!!

Tell them you’re an illegal.
Good for you! Bernie or Bust! Ammm-I-Right?
You’’l probably pay less than your copay and payment by asking for the cash or medicare rate.
12 years ago I had a colonoscopy. The prep was the most awful induced diarrhea I’ve ever experienced. After the procedure I had diarrhea for a year and a half. I suspect that the tools weren’t properly cleaned. I will never have another procedure. I do not trust the doctors and their staff at all.
This is a bad time to go without insurance.
Tough. My son-in-law went home from colonoscopy and had high fever and belly pain next morning. Peritonitis from perforated bowel during the scope. He lived thankfully after hospitalization for several days. Enough of that for him.
You must have a really unhealthy family and/or poor business acumen.
I saw a poster for this service at my Dr.’s office a couple of weeks ago. It supposedly shows ‘cash’ costs for various medical services.
Now, all hospitals are supposed to list the prices of their services.
First reaction: Why did you go to a hospital for your MRI? Then I got to the part where you refused colon cancer screening, and I realized you were just an idiot who didn’t know how to manage his own healthcare.
Have you tried Medishare or Christian health care ministries? I have had both but only used the latter. It is cheaper but paid fine.
Ask your doctor about https://www.cologuardtest.com
I will provide the same coverage for $500/ mo.
take the $2k and give it to a lawyer to make sure your will is in order.
We were paying for the employees health care. It went up 16%. We no longer can afford the premium and had to tell everyone they had to pay there own. Everybody dropped it. Mine is $1550.00 a month for me and my wife. My self and business partner took a paycut to survive. I am going to have to drop the Healthcare as well.
The problem is that most list their prices by the procedure codes. If you dont know billing codes, it is almost impossible to figure out the full costs.
Hernias are not cosmetic. Some may be unsightly, but they are hardly to be written off as ‘cosmetic’.
They have already admitted it is impossible to 100% sanitize colonoscopy scopes simply because of the way they are designed/built.
Further, many people have been injured by the people doing the colonoscopies. Perforated bowels. We lost a close family friend to this.
