What are families doing and what are plans during this odd time.
I am in house and keeping busy. Summer in the south.. already.
Working on a 1940 Plymouth pickup.
Tube chassis, 440 big block.
washing my life away on meaningless web sites posting opinions which evaporate and have no value
And I very much enjoyed hearing from you. :)
I tend to be a hermit in the best of times so this really isn’t impacting me much. I also had parents who taught me to always have plenty of food put back just in case. So I’m set that way too.
I’m planning on finishing up the drywall mudding on my new closets and then get them painted and staining a new bookshelf for the cookbooks in my kitchen. I like doing this type of thing, so it is more like fun than work.
No, just being tongue-in-cheek, as I've been "coding" for what seems countless decades.
Then get one.
What part of the country are you in?
Mine are not for sale.
Doing IT support remotely and tying flies. I get to do some work and a nice, frosty adult beverage or two. Food...check. Beverages...check. Ammo...check. Checks from clients...I hope so.
The laundromat I use has enormous washers and dryers for large quilts, which I wanted to use, but oh well!
I am spending my time laughing at all of the people who were not prepared.

This whole essential worker thing reminds me of the following scene from Schindler’s List. Yes, I am serious about making this connection since all of these government dictates is proof of the totalitarian nature of this thing we call government. Just look at my tag line.

Define “high proportion”?
Oh wait, “high proportion” is a relative form of measurement as opposed to an absolute form of measurement. Thus, you can make “high proportion” mean anything you want which allows you to make the current situation “fit the definition”.
QED.

Except for maybe having to hit an extra store or two to find the groceries I want, i haven’t been doing anything much different...being retired helps a lot.
I can sympathize.
I’ve been battling with Ulcerative Colitis. :(
TEMP IS 70. I turn 72 in August, if being a Guinea Pig for Type 2 Diabetes drugs don’t kill me. First 2 had some nasty reactions. Hope # 3 doesn’t. Problem is 99% have nearly ALL the same Freaking side effects. Why even bother if all are the same side effects.
We're not even remotely close to overwhelming it today............
Chester County, PA. Havent really looked but Ive kept my eyes open, havent seen any around.
Widespread geographic area.
Does the globe not qualify in that category?
Or does that need to include the solar system for you?
Yes. Today.
Can you guarantee that for next week?
Yes I can...As I've been stating repeatedly, 85 percent of the people testing positive have experienced either mild cold like symptoms or none at all.....
The only response to your post is ‘words mean stuff’. The prefix ‘geo’ means “a combining form meaning the earth, used in the formation of compound words”. So, no, I would not add the Solar system as part of the meaning of the word “geographic”.

However, since I never mentioned anything about disagreeing with the definition’s use of the word “geographic”, I am not sure why you are mentioning it.
I still stand by my point that the term “high proportion” is a relative form of measurement and thus can mean anything one wants it to mean.
