I wonder if there are any plans to bring back “The Invaders”. I liked it.

I watched one episode. Holy cow was the acting bad. It was wooden. Stiff. Terrible. That might have something to do with it.

Yeah, same here, I gotta go with the Jack Lord version. Unless you’re under a certain age, it’s just bad manners to recast the original characters. We’re not talking Shakespeare here - Five-O is gonna be around, you don’t need Steve McGarrett and Chin and Danno if you can’t be creative and develop strong characters for a 21st Century HPD.

I liked the “dramadies” from the 70s like The Rockford Files and Emergency!
A great mixture of seriousness and frivolity.

The 2 Asian main actors kept bitching about racism. Sometimes enough is enough.

The new series sucked. I watched a couple episodes and it struck me as just a succession of fantasy gun fights broken up by a few minutes here and there of high school grade attempts at humor.

Almost. That’s “Book him Danno. Murder One.”

I hate it. I grew up on the original. This one is all too woke. They practically made McGarret and Dan-O gay lovers.

I didn’t even know a newer version of this show was on the air. To me the Jack Lord version was the only one. I just don’t watch TV any more except for Netflix.

Back when I was a kid i went to universal and took a picture with that red Ferrari. 1988 I think. I now work with universal and asked where that Ferrari was and one of the 3 is in one of the props warehouses I go to.

The new guy isn’t Jack Lord.
The original was cool...this version, not so much.

Yes, anthogies. Beggining, middle, end. Three acts and epilogue. Not a running story line except for the occasional 2 partner. 5-0 did a three part once.

Same here. Watched it once. A woman in the Higgins role. The original with Tom Selleck was great. Love those shirt shorts.
