Yes, I’ve said it could be an ingrown toenail when they first started that ridiculous required, “underlying health conditions”.

Ohio May Have Had its First Coronavirus Death
Posted By Sam Allard on Thu, Mar 19, 2020 at 4:38 pm

The state of Ohio may have tallied its first death in the Coronavirus global pandemic. At the state’s daily press conference Thursday, Public Health Director Dr. Amy Acton confirmed that her department was aware of the death of a 76-year-old man in Maumee.

Mark Wagoner Sr. died Wednesday, a local TV station reported. His son is the Republican Party chairman in Lucas County (home of Toledo), and said the following on Facebook:

“Our Dad was diagnosed with presumptive COVID-19, although the final test results have not yet arrived. We have been working closely with the Lucas County Health Department and other entities over the last week to ensure that proper notice to those who may have been impacted was being provided. Our Dad would’ve wanted us to be looking out for others even as he was fighting for his life.”

“Anybody have a screen shot of that accidental leak”

I don’t, but I did copy the numbers, which are the following:

Jan 26: 15701 sick, 2577 dead

Feb 01: 154023 sick, 24589 dead

These were numbers that were ‘accidentally’ released for several hours by TenCent, the company that keeps the ‘official records’. The thought is that they wanted the information out there so others would know the truth. Very brave of them (or to whoever slipped the numbers), bummer no one bothered to take them seriously.

Two more COVID-19 coronavirus patients have died in Louisiana, Governor John Bel Edwards announced Thursday afternoon.

“The total death count is now ten in the state of Louisiana,” said Edwards.

“One of those, most recent, is a 44-year-old Orleans Parish (resident) with underlying medical conditions,” the governor said. “The other was a 91-year-old Lambeth House resident.”

The virus is exponential. Human minds think in linear terms.

Exactly. Since 2/28, confirmed cases have been expanding in the U.S. by an average of over 700% per week, or 31.3% per day. In fact, the rate of increase has been itself increasing from day to day.

Let's hope that the hype over hydroxychloroquine is not hype, and that the FDA does their due diligence for it quickly and effectively.

You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave . . . .

"At a quarantine center in Inner Mongolia in #China. You are not allowed to check-in if you can't afford to pay the fee(250 yuan, or $35 per day). But you are not allowed to leave either. Otherwise, the #CCP will arrest you."

Some are in denial, some are still in the anger phase, and some like that poster may be intellectually too simple to process it.

Soon, we will require "short bus" threads for those types.

Maine cases rise to 52; coronavirus extends into Hancock County
The state Center for Disease Control and Prevention urges Mainers to continue practicing social distancing, while Gov. Janet Mills asks the federal government to speed up the release of personal protective equipment and testing supplies.
By Randy BillingsStaff Writer

AUGUSTA — Gov. Janet Mills is stepping up calls for the federal government to release more coronavirus testing supplies and protective equipment from the national stockpile, as Maine now has 52 cases of coronavirus, including the first in Hancock County, an increase of 10 cases since Wednesday.

State officials are urging young people to take the disease more seriously and comply with social distancing rules, after a new study found higher rates of hospitalizations among people between the ages of 20 and 40.
