On January 1st of this year, The Global Times -- that's an English language Chinese propaganda outlet -- reported that eight people had been arrested for spreading "rumors" about a pneumonia outbreak in Wuhan in China.
Those rumors were shared by eight physicians. They described the illness on WeChat, a Chinese social media app. Now, it's obvious what they were warning about.
During the week of January 11th through January 17th, Wuhan authorities insisted there were no new cases of this mysterious disease. That of course, was a lie and a deadly one. We've got to emphasize that.

I used to enjoy watching Carlson. Then the virus hit. He went bat sh!t crazy over this virus.
No kidding. Thanks for your penetrating insight Tuck.
There needs to be some accountability for the creation and existence of this virus,
and if it wasn't for the lying, obfuscation, and Chinese government ordering the destruction of medical records,
there would have been quicker identification of the virus.
Except for the above three actions of the Chinese government
this pandemic was avoidable !
There is a reason why this virus should be called the 'Wuhan virus', or the 'Chinese virus', and not covid-19.
Knowledge is power, and the Chinese communist government knowingly and purposely kept the world ignorant !
They own it !!
BOOM! Nailed it on post #2!
Tucker Carlson has been on fire lately over this.
AI picked up on the outbreak on Dec 31,2019. Better tech will make Chicoms even less relevant.

Trump alluded to this today
Maybe China did hide the full voracious extent of this big.
But what we WERE able to see was certainly enough to start taking hard actions by Christmas 2019.
The lack of action then was due to willful ignorance, not China’s secrets.
Yes, China is the source of the bug.
Sod off, Panda breath.
How much more so if China had proactively cooperated and warned people?
They also first said it was non-transmissible.
Not everybody reads FreeRepublic.
Tucker’s educating folks who probably don’t realize the extent of this mess.
I usually like TC, though on certain topics he gets a tad overheated.
On the Chinese threat and their culpability w/r/t coronavirus, I’m in complete agreement with him.
That said, I’m beyond tired of hearing about it.
Let’s not forget that during that critical time frame our federal government was distracted by the frivolous impeachment charges and process. Pelosi and Schumer should be held accountable for playing politics at a time when something really critical was emerging.
Gee Tucker. As if the whole world doesnt know China is responsible for all of this sh*t!
Ha ha! What? Why? I love Tucker! He's just gone overboard in equating this to 2008-2009 financial collapse per the last crash; everything is related but his analysis is wrong. He did that just last night. He's right about China, though. And what's with this "sod off" British nerd colloquialism? I'll bet you're one of these dudes who visits London one time and suddenly signs all emails with "Cheers!". :)
“How much more so if China had proactively cooperated and warned people?”
It would not have been believed.
Half the people in the country still don’t believe it’s a problem.
I contend early truth from China would have made no difference in the actions of the US government.
The Brit colloquialism is from a news story where some environmentalist types tried to do a sit-in or something at a financial trading desk or such, and got the crap beat out of them; one of the traders was quoted in the article as shouting "Sod off, swampy!" at the protestors.
Since people talk of draining the swamp, I re-purposed it.
If you're down on China, you're ok in my book.
(Turns flame-thrower back down to "standby")
