Is their party finally over? Spring Breakers who have ignored social distancing and Donald Trump's demands for millennials to stop gathering may have to go home as Florida cities close their beaches and shut bars

Beaches in Florida are finally closing due to coronavirus concerns after local governments took action. Local officials in Clearwater Beach, which appeared earlier this week packed with visitors, voted to close by Monday. Beaches in Naples and in other communities in southwest Florida also were being closed. Meanwhile, new images show wild spring breakers continuing to party on the sand in Miami, despite South Beach's closings there as well, in response to the deadly, flu-like virus, also known as COVID-19.

Totally agree. . . and how in heck are they going to return to their hometowns. . . Planes I suppose!!! . . . So let’s infect everyone else they may come in contact with on their way home to their safe little beds. I’d love to have seen one of these college twitter idols up on that WH podium with the President to speak directly to THEM. They have gotten a HUGE pass.

“If they cut the pharmaceuticals to this country, we are royally screwed.”

The majority of our pharmaceuticals are not imported from China. Certain classes of pharmaceuticals may be from China, but I don’t know which pharmaceuticals.

I have heard that the active ingredients for most pharmaceuticals, where ever they are made, come from China and other countries import them, to make the drugs they sell to us.

Still, we need to bring manufacturing back home.

We are too dependent on too many folks who hate our guts but love our money.

“Still, we need to bring manufacturing back home.”

Absolutely.

I read that India and Ireland are two chief producers of pharmaceuticals that are imported into the US.

All of our necessary medicine should be produced in the USA. To rely on the ChiComms to supply us with any necessities is insane. We shouldn’t import anything from China beyond pandas, noodles and fortune cookies. :-)

Exactly.

And make that pandas only.

We can make noodles and fortune cookies, too.
