Encouraging news: three new medical studies show a commonly available anti-malaria drug known as chloroquine aka chloroquine phosphate is showing strong results against COVID-19 infections in both China and South Korea. Excerpts from three studies, including one published in Nature are below.

This was the briefing’s headline news, though many of the questions went off in other directions.

Predictable eh? I spent half the night and today pouring through articles, studies, etc and, even with my limited brain capacity, could tell that this could be VERY big news whether these previous studies are right or wrong. The press shrugs it off with a "meh". I'm sure they haven't even looked.

Credible? Very hard to say. The banner graphics are cheesy and look suspicious, especially for a site that promotes itself as serving the professionals. But the content that is provided looks solid and is mostly summaries of other articles with their associated links. I’d never heard of it until somebody else posted the link (on this post, I think). It’s a new one on me.

I looked at their articles and "about" pages and they look pretty solid. They're at least a community of pharmacological professionals that lend their expertise to articles.

I'm sure they're not the "go to" authority for this stuff. But they seem to be putting in credible effort.
