Very successful entrepreneur. If you were shooting a Hollywood film and needed to rent specialized production vehicles you went to see Lyle. RIP.

I honestly don’t know how he was able to keep straight face on Carol Burnett.

He was a great straight man on The Carol Burnett Show.

I saw him on a Carol Burnett tribute a few years ago and he looked frail then.

RIP, Lyle.

I still chuckle at the way Carol Burnett drooled over him.

Love the 70's Wonder Woman Show.

He also auditioned for Batman for the 60's Batman Show.

I clicked the link and saw that Stuart Whitman passed as well. I loved watching him riding horseback.

Didn’t know he was the person behind Star Waggons, that I often saw when I lived in Southern California!

I knew of him from the Burnett show, but had no idea of the trailer thing. That is very interesting.

Condolences to his family, he was a pretty decent actor and comedian.

“You couldn’t tell that Diana, being an Amazon, had aged at all.” Yeah, my teenage self wasn’t paying attention to her age, I was keenly focused on checking out her heart (and it isn’t my fault that a couple of things were in the way). :>)
