The coronavirus epidemic is effecting every facet of daily life, and celebrities are no exception.
Jon Voight, Oscar-winning actor and father to Angelina Jolie, was spotted in a Gelson's supermarket in Sherman Oaks, California, on Sunday with a basket full of paper towels as he waited on the checkout line.
The Coming Home actor, 81, looked in seemingly good spirits as he smiled off to the side.

btw, Costo has a sale on Bounty. Not sure why they are doing that since they are selling out of them. Perhaps it was some deal with manufacturer made last year
That’s not hoarding. He’s got maybe 8 single rolls max. They sell a 12-pack.
Heck, I’ve bought 6 and 8 packs. What do they consider “hoarding”?
Are two cartons of 18 eggs “hoarding”?
What about 36 individual eggs?
He probably would have bought an eight pack, like I do, but he only had a hand basket........
They have Wal-Mart’s in France? I thought you were in self-quarantine since you’re infected with the WuFlu. What’s your temperature today?
He’s not hoarding them. He’s scalping them. He just sold a roll to that lady for 300 bucks.
I would not call that hoarding I buy 6-12 rolls regularly.
Why do you keep doing this? I shouldnt have to respond to every post so people dont get confused
STOP IT
You know damn well I said it was a hypothetical
Usually we buy the large 12 pack of paper towels. Just keep that many on hand all the time. If that is what he usually gets in a shopping trip he is just buying them one by one. He may not be able to return for awhile as California is putting his age group in quarantine.
HOARDING is when a person is filling two shopping carts herself and then filling more for each kid walking behind.
My wife and I had just bought the kirkland brand paper towels and TP about a week before this silliness started. We’re sitting in the bunker enjoying the show. :)
By the time we need it again, everybody will have a lifetime supply, leaving all the new stuff showing up at the store for us. :)
Not seeing anything of an issue here. Really wonder why this is even deemed ‘news’.
that is not hoarding
My last buy well before Christmas was a 24 pack on sale....and I live alone. I have 8 rolls left.
Everybody’s talking at me
I don’t hear a word they’re saying
Only the echoes of my mind
People stopping, staring
I can’t see their faces
Only the shadows of their eyes
Hoarding? Pfft. The guy has about 6 rolls, maybe 8. The sell them 12-16 to a package in every store around here.
I do not hoard paper towels, but I like to make sure I never run out. I usually buy the big 12-packs from Costco or Sam’s. With the runs on paper towels, I may get to zero this week.
My wife did an inventory check today. We have 48 rolls in total.
2 and a half bath house.
We might survive the 2020 great TP scare/S
I have cleared out houses that were like that. After a (short) while you just have to throw everything into garbage cans and get it out. The number of neurons you consume looking at every title and thinking “Wow, this is a first edition of XXX, it could be valuable” is astronomical. The day you clear such a house, you have to make literally tens of millions of decisions of that type. At the end of the day you are fried, your brain is scraped raw. And, I did this in the context of having a duty to preserve value, under court order. So every book has to be riffled through in order to ascertain there isn’t a hundred (or other) dollar bill tucked between two random pages of any random book.
