Beach Boys - Don't Worry Baby (1964)
Don’t Worry Baby is a super example of Brian Wilson’s abilities when he was in the studio on one of his good days.
The car culture that so many of their songs are about has been replaced by the Green Weenie culture of zip wads who would rather sing: You’re not worried enough baby.
I’m about to go to my High School reunion. I’m 72.
My GF in that school married Carl Wilson of the Beach
Boys when she was 16 and sadly dropped out of school.
Memories.
It’s a good video. Brings back a lot of memories (songs). It’s about the studio musicians who made the songs. If you like music history, I’d recommend it. There’s also videos on Motown (Funk Brothers) and Muscle Shoals (Swampers).
I have to see it now!
We have speakers outside by the pool and I have the Best of The Beach Boys cd. So I put on my music, grab my float, and go out and get in. In My Room comes on and I hear my neighbor whos working in his yard singing along with my music at the top of his voice. Lol
Enjoy!
