The host of Trish Regan Primetime told viewers this week that concerns about the coronavirus were yet another attempt to impeach the president.
The Fox Business anchor Trish Regan, whose on-air dismissal of the coronavirus as another attempt to impeach the president left her cable network facing a firestorm of criticism this week, has been removed from her prime-time slot for the foreseeable future, the network said on Friday.
Ms. Regans 8 p.m. program, Trish Regan Primetime, is on hiatus until further notice, Fox Business said in a statement. The network declined to say if Ms. Regan would continue to appear on its other programs, saying that its coverage plans for the coronavirus crisis remained in flux.
Fox Business attributed the move to the demands of the evolving pandemic crisis coverage, saying it was shifting resources toward daytime coverage of the pandemic and global markets. Both Trish Regan Primetime and its follow-up at 9, Kennedy, will be replaced by general-interest programs.

Just yesterday it was read both Trish and Kennedy were to be put on hiatus (due to the crew needing to work on the CV coverage.) The two women will be returning at some time in the future.
Let me give it a shot.
There is a combined graph being displayed on the news, authorized by health authorities, which shows a typical bell curve overlaid on a flattened curve, of the Wuhan Flu (OK, that part was mine, not authorized). The bell curve shows a typical increase and decrease in numbers of infected (with corresponding unknown % deaths), compared to the flattened curve which modifies the bell curve when certain mitigation steps are taken.
The graph you refer to in your question looks like the start of the bell curve. Where the Wuhan line meets the flu line, it deviates from a typical bell. Since mitigation steps have been taken, the bell curve may not happen.
The whole purpose of the mitigation and flattened curve is to make hospital cases manageable and not end up destroying the hospital system.
My opinion is that this is a bioweapon, behavior of the virus may have unpredictable courses.
Your statement reflects the TRUTH!
The following article also supports your statement.
Coronavirus is nothing to sneeze at. But so far, widespread panic may not be justified.
You should know:
Obviously, this is a fast-moving news target. For the latest information from the government, you can visit the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) coronavirus page at CDC.gov. The following information is accurate as of Thursday.
Q: What is the average American's risk of getting coronavirus?
A: Low. CDC reports: "For the majority of people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be low."
Q: What's the likelihood that coronavirus is in my community?
A: Low. CDC reports: "There is not widespread circulation in most communities in the United States."
Q: How many coronavirus deaths have there been in the U.S.?
A: So far, not many. CDC reports 36 deaths. Adding various news reports, the number could be about 40 and growing. Although one death is too many, the reported deaths are among 43 states (including the District of Columbia) reporting outbreaks since January in a population of more than 327 million people.
Q: How many young people have died of coronavirus in the U.S.?
A: So far, there are no reports of deaths among young people in the U.S. The U.S. Surgeon General reports the average age of people who have died from coronavirus in the U.S. is 80. Additionally, he says those who are most impacted have chronic, serious health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, and lung disease.
Q: Who has died so far?
A. These were compiled using CDC reports plus news and local health department reports:
Q: How many people have recovered?
A: News reports say that in China alone, out of 80,000 diagnosed, nearly 60,000 have already recovered. However, the true number of recovered is likely far higher since most of those who get the virus have mild or no symptoms, and so are not diagnosed at all.
Q: Why have there been so many coronavirus deaths in Italy?
A: Italy has reported 827 coronavirus deaths. Experts say the high number is partly because Italy has more residents in the vulnerable age category. Italy has the oldest population in Europe and more elderly per capita than the U.S. Most of the Italian deaths are in patients in their 80s and 90s. In addition, Italy has a great number of direct China contacts. Italy was the first to join China?s ?silk road? economic partnership project. The coronavirus is believed to have originated in China. Italy?s 827 deaths are out of a population of 60 million people. Even though one death is too many, it is still a small relative number.
Q: Why am I hearing so many different fatality rates?
A: Experts say all coronavirus death rates are nothing more than estimates at the moment. That's because it is impossible to know how many people have or had the virus. And that total number is needed to calculate an accurate rate. What makes it more difficult is the fact that most people have few or no symptoms, and so it is impossible to count them.
Some current death rates that sound high are being calculated in a particular age group. The rate will be highest among the elderly and, in the U.S., there have been zero deaths among people age 50 and under. Some death rates are being calculated as deaths among the sickest patients, those are diagnosed and treated, which will produce a much higher number than a more accurate death rate that takes into consideration those patients who are infected but do not become ill at all

Fox Business Puts Trish Regan, Kennedy Shows on Hiatus

Donna Brazile?
Buy more eyewash!
I switch to Fox Business because of all the Liberals over on Fox News. I like Stu Varney in the morning, and Lou Dobbs at night, and Trish Regan show. So now I’ve got to switch from Fox Business to somewhere else.Rupert Murdoch sons have control with this Fox network the more left-wing it will go so adios guys!
We just don’t want it for the 10,000th time on a thread about TV.
It’s ridiculous and so are you. Now go grow up.
I have boycotted them. Only watch if Hannity has an interview with the President.
65k-85k dead with another 225k-400k needing extensive incubation to survive. Dec 31 2020. This assumes we 1) flatten the curve 2) the virus doesnt mutate into a more aggressive form 3) people listen.
I don’t tune in to any of the talking heads.....
Fox News and Fox Business were planning to roll out an entirely new prime-time lineup last week.
TV Guide last week had Hannity, Ingraham, Regan, and Kennedy all replaced by never-Trumpers. I was surprised when nothing had changed when I tuned in last week - until THIS week. I heard nothing about it on FreeRepublic or anywhere else, until today.
FOX is just trying to come up with CYA accounts of what happened after-the-face. As many Freepers have said, Fox is abandoning the folks that brought them to the dance.
For review later.
Trish was right. The Democraps and the media are exploiting coronavirus.
I support Trish Regan and missed her tonight. I support Travis and appreciate his excellent insights.
To say that Travis is “not the smartest light bulb out there” is silly. He is one smart cookie.
True that!
Concur.
Best friendly face and smartest.
Italy is up to 1441 fatalities as I post.
It’s the rapid rate of increase if strong containment measures are not taken that is worrisome.
“They killed Kennedy too.”
No kidding? I didn’t like her much, but I was cheering her on when she was rolling her eyes at one of the doom-and-gloom Wuhan virus spokesmen. She had the nerve to mention two drugs that appear to work against the virus, and it isn’t PC to pooh-pooh any Chicken Littles. We MUST buy into the narrative that we’re all gonna die.
Trish, too? Wow.
“Bartiromo will be next, soon.”
I’m sure that getting rid of Trish and Kennedy is a clear statement to Bartiromo, Dobbs, etc., that they’d better toe the liberal line or they’ll be next. They got the message, I’m sure.
“Its been days since Laura Ingram has been on.”
Supposed to be on a ski trip with her daughter for spring break. At least, that’s what was announced.
