Scenes from a panicked populace.
My actual experience | 3/14/2020 | By Laz A. Mataz

Posted on 03/14/2020 4:18:31 PM PDT by Lazamataz

I want to share with you some scenes that greeted me at my local Kroger today.

These are scenes from a panicked populace.

Like locusts, they are stripping the shelves bare.

Kroger Toilet Paper aisle.

Kroger Deli Meat aisle.

Kroger bottled water aisle.

Wegman's is a class outfit. They do things the right way and always put the customer first. Have shopped there since the '60s and I can't recall ever having a serious gripe.
Two of my sons worked there and had Wegman's scholarships. Not a lot of money, but I was paying their college costs out of my pocket and every little bit helped.

I didn’t think you made them up. I just meant that it’s a bit unsettling and concerning that it’s so low

Could This be the
Beginning of the End?
.
Hope not.
But ultimately I
Believe in the God
of the Bible and
His Son that is
The Hope of My Salvation.
That is What we should
Focus on now.

Lethality is >10x regular flu.
Contagious while asymptomatic.
This is jest getting started.
This is in addition to everything else.
If mitigated properly, will look like nothing happened.
If mitigated improperly, millions dead.

Outside of Costco,

Waiting in line
to get in at 10 o’clock.

How many cases are resolved...that is recovered or dead? That is the telling number right there. If of the total number of known cases, 50 percent have already recovered or died the running death rate is at 4 per cent. How many are needing to be hospitalized vs those who die in hospital vs recover...that is another telling number.

We have 100,000 normal icu beds, many with patient’s already in them. Expansion is possible but only to a point as many other folks will be sick enough to be admitted to the hospital in the hopes of them avoiding needing to go to an ICU. If 50 million people get sick with this thing in the next couple of weeks, at least 20 percent will get sick enough to be hospitalized....that will be 10 million people....the hospitals will be stripped of the ability to provide care for all those plus the regular heart attacks, strokes, side effect of cancer treatments ect. Trying to measure the death rates from people denied treatment for other disease states will be a new tertiary parlor hobby of study after this stuff passes. It again will be triage based, with the oldest and sickest passed over. Drunks may have to be rehydrated and then let go instead of a stay in the hospital for a few days for ‘detox”. Suicide attemptees may get the least treatments if this thing gets real bad here.

Drove by the local Walmart around 09:30 - had about the same amount of cars I would normally see at that time. Did not go in.
