I want to share with you some scenes that greeted me at my local Kroger today.
These are scenes from a panicked populace.
Like locusts, they are stripping the shelves bare.
Kroger Toilet Paper aisle.
Kroger Deli Meat aisle.
Kroger bottled water aisle.
Especially when people keep recovering instead of dying, and it turns out that people have been contracting the virus and recovering at home for months with no one the wiser.
Cold cuts, bottled water, and ass wipe?
Put those together habitually and you truly DO have a decline in civility!
Now if it was beer instead of bottled water? Perfect.
Brought down to our prime evil existence
One Second After was another good one.
After I read that, I became more serious about my prepping.
One of the best I heard a couple of weeks ago was “If I had any hair, I’d set it on fire.”
Come to think of it, two weeks ago weren’t we told we’d all be dead?
Whatever makes you feel better........

Serves them right. They'll have a lifetime supply of TP, and they're so scared that they won't ever need it.

Same here in Lexington County at Publix. Nothing wiped out except hand sanitizer, but Lysol wipes were bogo and the end caps were stocked. SC is up to 19 confirmed cases of COVID-19 tonight. 1 in Lexington now but from the extended care nursing facility sadly.

I have it on fairly good authority that I am "too ******* dumb to stay out of situations or just too mean and ugly to die" and judging by posts over the past few years I'd put both of you in the same class.
Even more incentive for me: Three (so far) of the most gloriously pretty great-grand daughters known who I have every intention of seeing and proudly dancing with on their wedding days.
Tell me I'm wrong.
There will be economic losses as a result of people being unable to work due to social distancing measures, less travel, less elective medical procedures, no cruises, no large conventions, etc. They will be offset in part by all the shopping being done by Americans who are determined to buy a six month supply of toilet paper and other essentials.
Revenues for stores just jumped, and their suppliers are now busy making more of everything.
So, licking mosque walls and drinking imam spit *does* work!
I’ve got 200 or so pounds of rice. Add beans(I’ve got 25 of pintos too) and a fair supply of canned tomatoes and I figure I’m good when my regular reserves are exhausted—and by then they’ll be looking pretty good.
Yep. That one, too.

So far it’s great up near the Canadian border. Those without RO’s are having trouble keeping up.
You got it! The question is, as always, when. Meanwhile, 4D Man is playing on MeTV now. One of my fav’s when I was a kid, used to scare me something awful.
But then, I grew up. Bummer!!
I’m waiting to hear stories about people being mugged in grocery store parking lots and having their stuff stolen. Don’t think it’s happened yet, but I suspect to see it soon.
Yes but ultimately you only use X rolls of tp a month and eat x cans of green beans. We just shifted the sale date.
We will probably be seeing tp in the store turn brown from laying there so long in a few months.
