Nobody cares how much toilet paper you buy.

However, the needless fear mongering has crashed the economy over a once a decade event. Are we going to shut down the largest economy in the world every time a new bug emerges?

Both of you seem blissfully unaware of the economic carnage we are facing now. You might want to think about that instead of looking for validation for prepping.

“Nobody cares how much toilet paper you buy.”

Actually, we do care about how prepped we all are...and pity those who can’t comprehend it. In fact, our threads got a lot quieter in the past few days as the Flubros are spending most of their time in lines at Costco, rather than tolling this discussion.

And by the way, NO ONE HERE has ‘crashed the economy’. We can’t even crash Chick-A-Fill when they go hard left after standing up to the gay community. We cannot even get Target to separate their bathrooms, Disney to end Gay Days, or Dicks to go out of business.

You seem to think that we run the world, when half of us barely run our own households.

We got our ‘validation’ yesterday, seeing all you Flubros paying the price for denial of the obvious.

As to the economy, it NEVER stood a chance against this flu...and, on my part, I’ve spent MORE MONEY in this country in the past 2 months than I’ve spend in the past 2 years (when most of my money was for traveling overseas). I’ve given our economy a HUGE shot in the arm.

I think many of us are acutely aware of the financial impact. It’s WHY we are preppers.

Poland is shutting down. Is that part of people overreacting to some vast left wing conspiracy?

A lot of people were fear mongering over economic carnage of the 2008 crash. Guess what we recovered, it was not the end of the world.

I got layoff in 2008, could not find a job so I created my own job by opening a business. That business lead me into a new job a year later that is paying 6 figures doubling my income. I did not lay around in fear of the economy crashing.

Just like now this is not the end of the world.

Don’t be a fearmonger.

Our prepping did not cause the economy to crash. Gradually prepping in advance, over time, allows the supply chain to handle the extra buying.

I prep every fall for winter. Those in hurricane country, prep every spring for hurricane season. The economy has never crashed as the result of carefully planned, well thought out prepping.

The economy crashing is by people panic buying, as those who did NOT prep are doing now or those who wait until the hurricane or snowstorm is bearing down on them.

Go foist your blame on those who deserve it and I am not accepting it.

This one is transitioning to anger, now. It’s a positive step.

Likely one of the most ignorant posts I’ve yet to see, on FR.

Prepping is NOT fear mongering. Prepping that MOST on the CV threads have done, has been gradual and, if anything, has ASSISTED the economy.

It’s also kept a significant number of shoppers out of the stores, at this critical time.

Secy Mnuchin was asked an obtuse question, similar to your statement, and I appreciated his reply...

The dollars that people are spending, today, on food/supplies, have actually evened out the dollars that are being lost to TRAVEL and entertainment.

So, take a clue from Mnuchin, POTUS, and others, here.

Also....if you truly believe that this is hoax/nothingburger disease, then kindly and simply refrain from posting on these daily CV threads.

You are not contributing to the valued info that many, here, are sourcing and posting.

Take good care.

"Sod off swampy." A lot of the crash was that oil prices fell 30% overnight due to the pissing match between Saudi Arabia and Russia.

That was on TOP of the panic fueled by the lugenpresse over the Wuhan Flu.

Notice how the Dow jumped 2000 points during President Trump's press conference?

People now know we have real leadership.

No matter what Hillary's and George Sore-Ass's and China's paid trolls reading teleprompters say.
