“Except that you need to be sick enough to need an ICU, to be put in one.”

I laid out the numbers, do the math.

This thing puts a higher percentage of cases in the hospital and in the ICU, compared to the flu.

It disgusts me when people try to skim a profit off those in need for just financial gain.

It may not be illegal, but it certainly is not right.

I wipe mine off with lysol wipes. Have done that for years. Who knows what’s on the counter at walmart or kroger.

Then there’s this, an indictment of American’s preparedness in general:

There is an argument for keeping 70+ folks off the streets, but there is no way any politician would dare state it.

Here is how it goes—

—Given that the hospital systems will be overwhelmed
—Given that hospitals will triage in that scenario
—Given that the triage scenario is to let the oldest die first

An elderly person _really_ needs to stay away from those hospitals!

My hospital- and many others- will have surge tents this week. Set up near ER’s for walk-in patients to be tested/evaluated.

Dark Wing :" ..there are “probably 25 to 50 people who have the virus for every one person who is confirmed”…
“No, that means 1,600 got the test, tested positive. There are probably 25 to 50 people who have the virus for every one person who is confirmed.”

He added:
“I think we have between 50,000 and half a million cases right now walking around in the United States.”

That number is quite p;ossible.
Early information about covid-19 was that symptoms occurred anywhere from two (2) to nine (9) days after exposure ,
and during that time, infected individuals were casting off formites which could infect others.
Therefore, those without symptoms would have felt no need to quarantine, thus spreading the disease wherever they traveled.
Thus, effectively broadening the infection .
In metropolitan area such as New York city, each person infected, although without symptoms, would be another case of "Typhoid Mary".

If they require the shower facilities to be disinfected between uses, it will slow down their use but it will also prevent the spread of the disease.
