That’s one of the factors that worries me the most, with the explosion in people with diabetes we’ve been seeing, that’s a big factor in the number of people who will either die or have to be treated.
Several years ago my husband had a serious case of food poisoning from a hamburger eaten at a famous chain restaurant. One of his symptoms was tingling in his arms.

American Indians are at great risk - lots of diabetics.
ITALY
Former NHS doctor trapped in coronavirus-hit Italy begs the UK Government to shut down EVERYTHING in the fight against the killer infection as he warns it’s NOT just the elderly who are dying
Idiot. (The guy in the article, not you!)
He could have sold the $1 Purell bottles for $20 for lots of 10 and then charged shipping @ cost plus a couple bucks for packing, and no one would have blinked an eye - unless he couldn’t get ‘em shipped fast enough.
Better yet, he should have looked for a bulk distributor to get his cost down to $.60 a bottle or so.
Instead Great-granny in Podunk-Ville who maybe doesn’t even do e-mail can’t get sanitizer @ Dollar General & gets the virus.
That said, I also find it ridiculous that eBay blocks all sales of the stuff. Just turn over the most egregious offenders to LE and post such on your log in page.
Aldi here put a limit of 4 on such purchases & was able to maintain stock for a couple days, at least.

Thank You, Mr. Ma!
(Something about that doesn’t sound quite right.)
I’d be even happier if he could arrange to SELL us 50 million masks and 20 million tests at a fair price.
Yes - breathing near someone is enough to transmit the virus. My wife has been wearing a mask to the store - but doubt she wore one to see this doctor.
BTW - the doctor visit was in the city of Bellevue, WA. I just saw on twitter a post by the Seattle Business Journal of a gal that worked in Bellevue:
A 60 year old legal assistant went home early on Tuesday due to flu-like symptoms. She worked from home on Wednesday. When she didn’t answer her phone or emails on Thursday somebody went to check on her. Found her dead in her home.
