White House coronavirus expert Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Friday morning that the current state of crisis in the US would last for two months and that 'it's all on the table' in terms of how much more severe things may become.
In a series of interviews with Good Morning America and CBS This Morning, Fauci gave his bleak assessment of what is still to come.
'It's certainly going to get worse before it gets better...there's no doubt we have not peaked yet,' he said.
Asked directly if America was heading towards a complete shutdown like China and Italy, he would not rule it out.
'I'm not sure we're going to get to that.
'I think that would be really rather dramatic, but I can tell you that all things are on the table.

I’m not a flu bro, but now Fauci is just running around like a chicken with his head cut off, so to speak, IMO. With the steps we’re taking now, hopefully we’ll flatten the curve and make something that tyrannical quite unnecessary.

A. Make people want to prepare and takes precautions.
B. Make people be calm.

China sees their control of many markets and their gross domestic product declining
so their government has sufficiently motivated (?) the employees.
All businesses there are owned , or controlled, by the Chinese government.
We can't see well through the "Bamboo Curtain",
except with occasional non-governmental reports.
Authoritarian governments are able to suppress any controversial reports
that don't agree with official government policy.
Delta has shut down all Europe flights except London. By the time the US shuts down, airlines will have already done it for Trump.
So what does a *complete shutdown* entail?
No one in or out of the country?
Schools all closed?
No driving around? Like that could ever be enforced anyways.

Modern cars with electronics could in theory be shut down remotely. It was a problem in one of the Fast and Furious movies so to counteract that they got a bunch of old school muscle cars without the electronics.
Then how would the Chinese sneak their stuff in from Mexico if he closes the Mexican border ?

Fauci has reversed a lot and I feel bad for him, he looks a bit defeated and he’s served honorably for like 30 years - sucks for this to be how he will be remembered.
