White House coronavirus expert Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Friday morning that the current state of crisis in the US would last for two months and that 'it's all on the table' in terms of how much more severe things may become.
In a series of interviews with Good Morning America and CBS This Morning, Fauci gave his bleak assessment of what is still to come.
'It's certainly going to get worse before it gets better...there's no doubt we have not peaked yet,' he said.
Asked directly if America was heading towards a complete shutdown like China and Italy, he would not rule it out.
'I'm not sure we're going to get to that.
'I think that would be really rather dramatic, but I can tell you that all things are on the table.

Glad you got yours. We are ready also, I guess.
Wifey is getting geared up to make a foraging journey for hand sanitizers and paper towels.. again.
She’s headed to Costco and Safeway to do walk-bys to see what lies or doesn’t lie on the shelves locally.
Here in Occupied Californicata , the latest buzz is movie theaters and bingo parlors are gonna get shut, that will be a real test for her.. giving up bingo is one thing, movies another.
As long as the dogs stay healthy, we should be OK.
I’m pretty much resigned to the old retirement funds getting slammed real good regardless, people panic on the drop of a dime these days. The media is a good example.
If this big scare peters out quickly and folks return to work and to ballgames and public gatherings quicker than expected, the effects will be minimal. What is often forgotten is that during such quick downturns, product and service demand is not wiped out, but deferred. Things that would have been purchased during the emergency, but were not, will pop back up on the must have list when the emergency passes.
Economic healing is almost always quicker than expected.
Now, if the virus were to come back with a second life and start killing large numbers of people and the economy shut down for months and months...yes, the effects would be unbelievably bad.
I think things can ramp up much more quickly than they could have a few decades ago.
Not quite so easy for business that are no longer in business. Deferred demand doesn’t bring those jobs back. Think restaurants, and other service industry professions. Takes a long time for people to get the confidence to start new businesses to replace all the shuttered ones.
I never said this and again, why lie?
Well, if this isn’t the flu we should definitely put Marshall law om the table!
I was referring to the amount infected vs the population of the US. How many Americans total are infected (that’s known) vs how many have died.
There you go panicking again. Didn't I tell you about this?
And that is what the MSM is using to create hysteria.
“There you go panicking again. Didn’t I tell you about this?”
You left off the /s.
I’m here for ya...
It’s martial law not marshall law. Sorry to nitpick, but that one is a pet peeve of mine.
And I love you for that.
:)
My comment about the BOC song went unappreciated.
