Gov Hogan declared all our schools in Maryland closed (not just public) for the next 2 weeks. And mentions many other venues.

Two public schools closed in the South Bronx today, as I posted on the corona thread. I think that means more to be closed soon. The private schools already closed, many of them.

Main result so far has been a grocery shopping army getting ready for the inevitable.

Yes, I thought it was kind of ridiculous enough that my college cancelled classes these 2 days - so teachers can prepare to do remote lectures.

I still have to work today, and the parking was great. Almost a ghost town as a tutor, though.

Oh, but joy - just now the college has MOVED OUR “SPRING BREAK” TO NEXT WEEK, instead of Easter week (which totally messes up my medical appointments!!!!)!

Hogan's an idiot . . . again. We have positives in around 6 counties (out of 23 + baltimore). This kind of stuff should really be decided by skrewel boards on a district-by-district or countywide basis, IMO.
