Two things are becoming increasingly clear in the race for the Democratic nomination. Former Vice President Joe Biden now looks unstoppable after another excellent primary/caucus showing, defeating Bernie Sanders in Idaho, Mississippi, Missouri and Michigan Tuesday.
And should he get the nod before or during the Democratic National Convention, his running mate will almost certainly be a woman. Biden is now a massive -2500 favorite to earn the nomination on the heels of a dominant Super Tuesday performance. Biden has soared in U.S. Presidential odds as well, closing from +1700 to +120 in two weeks.
888sport's UK-facing betting site lists U.S. Senator and former Democratic candidate Kamala Harris as the favorite to run as Biden’s VP, giving her +250 odds. Four of the top five Vice Presidential candidates are women – Pete Buttigieg is tied for the four spot and listed at +1000 alongside Elizabeth Warren.

The establishment knows Bernie would cause a blowout of epic proportions, but the base wants everything he’s spouting.
I nominate AOC. She narrowly beat out Ilhan Omar for my preference. Omar, however, might have the edge in Joe’s mind due to her criminal behavior. Joe is partial to sleazy people like his deadbeat, drug addicted son.
I hope he picks her. Everybody knows Joe’s got a brain and a foot on a banana peel, and ‘Merca still isn’t ready for a woman.

Identity politics run amok. It doesn’t matter who might be the best President if Biden were to die in office. Straight white males are automatically out of the running. It has to be a woman, preferably non-white, or if a male, a homosexual.
I disagree- This race is ALL about the VP.
Joe would be lucky to make it through his first year.
They are really electing the VP.
If it’s hilLIARy then they will pull out all stops. They thought they had last time- but Trumps numbers overwhelmed even the 10% additional votes and/or 10% trashed Trump votes. (which I think is a reasonable estimate)
They will do ALL the vote fraud they can come up with, and in triplicate. There is no consequences if they get caught, and there sure won’t be any investigations if they win.
Warren ain’t happenin’.
Harris or Klobuchar are possibilities unless Hillary big ankles her way onto the ticket.
