Good move. To clear up the writing, all visas have been suspended. That means foreigners are barred entry. Indian citizens coming from the listed countries must undergo 14 days quarantine upon return.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

And here in New Mexico 2 of our 3 cases were in Egypt. The 3rd was in New York recently. I think New York counts as foreign travel since many people from many countries come and go from there.
