Whether youre just a little hungry or starving, McDonalds will soon offer a Big Mac to match.
The fast-food chain will release two new versions of the iconic burger Wednesday: the Little Mac and the Double Big Mac.
The Little Mac has just one beef patty, while the Double Big Mac has four. Theyll both still be topped with cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions and Special Sauce.
The Double Big Mac comes in at 720 calories; the Little Mac is 320 calories the same as a medium fry.
Though the burgers prices will vary regionally, McDonalds is recommending a price of $2.29 for the Little Mac and $5.49 for the Double Big Mac, McDonalds spokeswoman Morgan OMarra said.
Both burgers will be available for a limited time at select locations. McDonalds did not say whether the new burgers would eventually be phased into the menu...

They increased the prices of fries near us over the last few months.
Never heard of that place??????
If Bloomie bought McD burgers instead of campaigning, each American could have had two.
or a big big mac :)
Keep the Original! Why change a beloved classic? I say no to reinventing the Big Mac.
So, there will be a White Big Mac as well as a Black Big Mac? A friend wants to know.
Can I get a little big mac?
With an order of jumbo shrimp...
Other than the sauce and maybe not even that there ain’t much original about a big mac. Well known yes but beloved no.
We had the minimac and the 1/4lber Mac thingy but not the quadruple Mac. I want at least a quadruple 1/4lber Godzilla Mac.
Must be a regional thing I guess.

To me, it’s a click or two better than Red Robin. RR is about 20 miles from me so I rarely go.
They should make a McRib Mac
Fast Food makes their $$ on fries and drinks.... That’s where their margins are... McD’s slashed their drink margins a good bit when they went to any size drink for a $1.. not sure if they are still running that, but that took away from the margin a good bit.. not that they are losing money selling it for a $1, but they aren’t making the margins they were... so they make it up by increasing the price of the fries even more (which also are a huge margin mark up for them).
You’re right.
And the larger sandwiches which most people buy are solidly profitable too as is the breakfast stuff.
Looks good! Haven’t seen them here in AZ.
Yes, the drinks are still $1 here but I usually get an iced coffee so I pay more but I’d rather have that than a soft drink.
I’m thinking Mega Mac.
8 patties and a Salvador Dali crutch to keep it from falling over.
I haven’t had the JFG. I like most condiments on the right kinds of things.
Someone accidentally bought the Kraft version of “sandwich spread” and brought it in to work. That $%^& is disgusting! Have you tried that? Who the hell would eat that?!?!?! That must be bottled mistakes that they send to Ethiopians to put on their charred lizard feet or something because I cant imagine anyone knowingly buying that and then voluntarily EATING it! Kraft almost has to be running some sort of tax write off due to losses scam there.
The JFG has to be better because I doubt its possible to be any worse.
I’d have to use a knife & fork on that middle one; my mouth doesn’t open that far. My ex-wife’s did...
