A customer at an Olive Garden restaurant in Indiana on Saturday loudly demanded a server who is not black, an employee and an observer said. A manager acquiesced, and is no longer employed by the company.
Amira Donahue, a hostess at the restaurant in Evansville in southwestern Indiana, said the customer, a white woman, complained to a manager about her and the other black hostess working during Saturday's dinner rush.
"She made comments about me to my co-workers concerning my race and saying that I should work at a strip club instead," Donahue told NBC News on Wednesday. "She asked if I'm even black and if I am from here."
Donahue, 16, said the customer — who was with a handful of other people, including two children — was seated at a table that had a black server, at which point she became particularly irate.
The customer then screamed her demand for a nonblack server to a manager, who complied, Donahue said.

An interesting thing is that until the 1950’s or 60’s, Italians and their food were considered practically immoral by most people outside of a few urban areas with a large Italian immigrant population. No respectable person ate that Eyetalian food. It had - gasp! - garlic in it....
Everybody loves Italian food now, but Olive Garden sells itself on quantity and not quality. It’s about canned spaghetti level.
I don’t eat there on my own but I’ve gone to Olive Gardens here in the South for occasional meetings, and I can easily believe that this happened. It’s not a hoax.
This is not something that isn’t happening every day, not just with minorities, but women, men, whatever.

My thoughts exactly, an employee of any color got her good I would say. I have an ex-sister-in-law who lived to bitch about service, food, anything, she made an ass out of herself whenever she would go out to eat and demand free meal of discount. My brother made good money, he builds jet engines for GE so they were not scrapping nickles to eat. I told Rosie O Loud Mouth, my nickname for the exSIL once, you know every time you show your ass you are eating lots of extra goodies in your food. She wouldn’t believe it, so I said okay, just don’t do it if I am in the party.
One morning my wife and I had the misfortune of traveling with Rosie O and my brother and we were going to a hotel breakfast buffet which my brother and I had ate at for many many years and it was always exceptional. The buffet was clean, the food tasted good and service was outstanding. Before we walked in I looked at big mouth and said so are you going to bitch and raise hell in here or do we get a quite meal for a change? She was furious I could tell but never said a word. I am sure I was ranked number one on the brother-in-laws I hate list she had.

Learned that lesson in the sub-contracting construction business that sometimes you need to fire some customers, i.e. stop quoting their projects. Plenty of legitimate reasons to do it, most usually fall under the heading of “don’t buy trouble.”
In this restaurant case, the manager probably didn’t have enough experience to understand that being in the “hospitality” business doesn’t mean being nice to those who are clearly “inhospitable.”

After reading the article I have questions. I tend not to believe it’s so simple and that’s based on intuition and race baiting that the left constantly uses to perpetuate hoaxes.
I think that the customer was unhappy and called for another waiter, not a black one. And since that waiter was black, NBC gets to say the customer wanted a non-black waiter.
OR, maybe the customer was a lefty plant. The only times that something like this makes the news are when the left set’s up a situation so blatant and absurd that it can’t be ignored or overlooked. OH and lets make it happen in VP Pence’s home state and blame Trump.
I remember hearing about a flight that was held up because The Oprah demanded a black stewardess.

Since we are all now under security camera surveillance pretty much everywhere we go, is there any video of this incident?
Was there no video of woman entering, leaving, or sitting in the restaurant?
And why isn't the media working overtime to track down this racist woman? The media like nothing more than exposing racists but there's no information reported on her.
I have black friends who were born in Africa, and came here to get educated work as professionals. They are excellent neighbors. Sometimes they say, "If I go into a government office and want someone to handle my papers efficiently, I look for a white person." They get disgusted with American blacks' attitudes. They are so grateful to be here.
