Williams College suspended male student for not dating girl after kissing her: lawsuit
College Fix ^ | March 5, 2020 | Alexander Pease

Williams College suspended a male student based on his failure to pursue a relationship with a female student after “kissing and touching” her, according to a lawsuit against the private school.

Both the unnamed Hispanic student “John Doe” and his accuser “Sally Smith” are foreign students. She accused him of sexual misconduct not because he acted without her consent, John claims, but because he was “culturally insensitive” after their amorous encounters.

Adjudicators misrepresented the evidence in the record, ignored Sally’s messages to John expressing positive feelings about their first amorous encounter, and didn’t even correctly apply the “preponderance of evidence” standard, the suit alleges.

John’s life and career path – law school followed by politics – is functionally foreclosed by the finding of nonconsensual sexual contact on his record, he argues.

At least she stopped another liberal from entering politics.

Or maybe Juan Diaz.

It is almost like the woke fascists who run these institutions want to encourage more same sex relationships. I'm currently listening to a book on CD about the uncle of Queen Elizabeth II, King Edward of England who abdicated to marry the American divorcee.

He never really wanted to be King and women were so complicated with feelings hard to figure out that he originally believed he might even be a Sodomite. Before he acted on those thoughts, however he actually had an opportunity to mate with a woman and found the experience so thrilling that those thoughts vanished forever in one brief ejaculation as he told a close friend.

Can you imagine what would happen to him today?

Old news.
WWII had plenty of instances of American soldiers necking on the first date as “first base”, with British girls interpreting it as “3rd base and stealing home”.
Whole lotta confused on both sides.

The fundamental judicial protections of “due process”, “innocent until proven guilty”, and 6th amendment right to confront accusers are being denied in these “Title IX” investigations. Consider the power of the administrative state, the ability of prosecutors to bankrupt the innocent through long drawn out legal procedures, the tyranny of politicized judges who “interpret” or ignore laws they disagree with, elites being above the law, and the unwillingness of the self regulating legal profession to discipline rogue lawyers. The judicial system of the United States has become a farce.

Because they can!

Colleges/universities need to get their hands slapped hard over these pseudo-legal proceedings. They like to think they are self-governing entities independent of the local sovereign power and have thought so since the Middle Ages. Like those Middle Age sovereigns did the local authorities need to tell them in no uncertain terms they are under the same laws like anybody else.

Article is long but skimming it, seems a Title IX (aka college kangaroo court) found said male student guilty of some BS and suspended him.
Suspended male student has file a real, actual lawsuit against the college.
I hope he absolutely cleans house on that college.
This reporter reached out to university administration for comment and got none. Probably the first smart thing the Williams college has done. Those Title IX hearings are a joke. Just a bunch of he-said-she-said hearsay, usually no real evidence, burden of proof is on the accused to prove his/her innocence instead of the other way around.

Ok, all you young guys. Here is the new norm. Don’t you dare date anyone that you aren’t willing to marry. Now, how you discern whether she is worthy of marrying before the first date is of no consequence. It is a risk you have to take to have any chance of getting laid.

Eventually a college student will be suspended for turning down a same sex advance.
Then in high school and then in Elementary School.

“...director of sexual assault prevention and response, Meg Bossong.”

I found the problem. It’s right here. When you create a position or department for as specific task, that person or department is going to find or create cases to justify their existence.

If they created a department for the eradication of goblin sharks from student housing, guess what they are going to find?

Technically, didn’t she kiss him as well. Now she wants to have a relationship without his consent

The event is causing too much noise and it is easiest to cut one student and quiet the clamor. Sometimes, easy is expensive

Trifling with her affections!
What’s the penalty for breach of promise?
Maybe we should bring back stocks and pillories to deal with these vintage atrocities.
At the very least he should get the ducking stool. Then dry him off with a windfall because the college is going to be paying him bigly.

In the movie “Cherry 2000” - an old, campy post-apocalyptic movie - they have exactly that: sexual encounters requiring contracts. Supposedly takes place in 2017. They saw this coming back in the 80’s.
