Hillary isn’t running for a reason, she’s lost any luster and would just lose worse than last time - so I’d say “no way” will she be the VP candidate. It’d just energize the same folks to get out and vote Trump again, probably by a wider margin.

Dem voters will recoil at Her Royal Thighness having anything to do with the Dem ticket in November. I would not put it past her to do some House of Cards shit like that, but it just doesn’t seem feasible.
More likely the DNC realizes 2020 is a lost cause, and is putting Slow Joe up as a sacrificial lamb for the down ballot races. They retreat from the 2020 battleground but might retain the House or make grounds in the Senate and live to fight on in 2024. Four more years of undermining Trump and then it’s back to business as usual.
This was suggested by a caller to Mark Steyn today, but using Amendment 25 to remove Joe.
I suspected the Clintons owned Biden when Comey’s endorsement was rejected. Old Joe would love to be president, let Hitlery do most of the work, he can cross it off his bucket list (hopefully before he kicks the bucket) and Hitlery will take over.

The plan is to salvage the down ticket seats. The demon rats know they are going to lose the presidential slot, sothey are rejecting the extremes, like Commie Sanders and hom Buttjudge, placing a soft candidate with demon rat likeability in the losing spot so the turnout is not suppressed. THAT is the demon rat strategy.
