They looked at all births in Ontario before Trump’s election (April 2010 to October 2016); just afterwards (November 2016 to February 2017); and later on (March 2017 to October 2017).
The team found the lowest ratio of boys to girls occurred in March 2017. This effect was observed in liberal-leaning parts of Ontario, but not in conservative areas. Before Trump’s election, for every girl born in liberal-leaning regions of Ontario, 1.0605 boys were born, but between March 2017 and July 2017 this figure dropped to 1.0217 boys per girl. For conservative-leaning regions there was a slight increase in the ratio, but a statistical analysis showed this was down to chance, not an outside factor.

What difference should it make to them? The babies can choose their own “gender” whenever they want.
For a liberal/progressive to write an article like this strike me as fake news. To them, the sex at birth is completely immaterial. So what are these writers really up to?

I thought we no longer saddled babies with a specific gender! This is some kind of ism, I’m sure.
Liberals should not be raising boys anyway. They see them as defective girls.
If I’m remembering my Biology from High School, Nature pretty much balances out the boy/girl ratio throughout the world and we’ve pretty much stayed at 51% male 49% female for eons, now.

Liberal mom’s, especially suburban mom’s, are killing all their male offspring over concern that they will turn into Orange men.
That’s a good thing, right? The fewer toxic male babies there are the fewer parents who will feel micro-agressed.
