You imply he was inviting her to go to strip club after work. That wasn’t the case, obviously. That was borderline office banter and no more. Certainly nothing to lose a job over or sue in a sane world.

There was a time he sounded somewhat reasonable. He hasn’t sounded reasonable in a very long time.
There was never much cordiality, even then. There is a mythology built up around Reagan and Tip O’Neal and all that. The Rats have been snakes all along. Sure it’s worse now, but that’s to be expected.
Hah, the only time I even tried to watch [P]MSNBC was during the brief period when Michael Savage had a show on there, around 2003. Remember how that turned out?
Many years ago, Chris Matthews was worth watching. You could tell he slanted a bit left but I thought he came off pretty neutral for the most part.
But he changed - and not for the better.
