Folks here were down-playing Matthews comments, but they were classic sexual harassment—and his comment asking where the woman was going after she left the set—that was super creepy....

If he did it once, he probably did it dozens of times.

Bonus: The women could sue his employer and imho win.

You imply he was inviting her to go to strip club after work. That wasn’t the case, obviously. That was borderline office banter and no more. Certainly nothing to lose a job over or sue in a sane world.

I think you’re probably right. But having watched how the workplace has evolved since the 1980’s I just keep my head down now. I don’t comment on female co-workers’ appearance or even engage in conversation outside of what is required to get the job done. It’s easier for me to take this position because I’m of an age where “I’m not looking”. I feel bad for the men & women who are. Every day must be like walking thru a minefield for the men. The women? Well, we know that they are generally unhappy with the men around them if one believes what is written today.
