The only safe quarantine time line for SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 is 28 days for exposure and another 14 days after two negative tests after “pronounced cure date.”
Any other quarantine time line will put the R(O) well over 1.0.
And since a number of people on the Diamond Princess return flight back popped COVID-19 infections. The date of flight was the last exposure, _Not_ any data on the ship.
Is it slowing down in the U.S.? Seems like the news is.
How did those dumb bunnies get rich? None sound like they have an ounce of common sense. Sure, fly to Italy.
Even the guy flying to Idaho hasn’t thought this through. Have his driver (who might be infected) drive him to the airport. Then he sweeps through the terminal shaking everyone’s hands to show how grand he is. Toss some cash to a coughing bell boy to cart his luggage out for him. How many infected mechanics prepped his jet? How healthy is the pilot? Then he gets to an Idaho airport to do it all again. Hops into another limo with another potentially infected driver who takes him to his isolated cabin that has been readied by more infected servants. Of course, he’d have to throw a catered party and fly in his friends who have been flying all around the world...

I saw something similar and the next day there was an article that the Pope was up and about doing Pope-y things. Today Reuters said that the he was actually tested for CV, but came back negative. (so far)

I was saying to my wife this morning—”If one Congressperson tests positive, that will be all it takes for all of DC to demand quarantine-like activity.”

The girl had been at the Jonas Brothers concert on February 14, where there were thousands of people: it will not be easy to track them down since the tickets are not nominal.
The daughter of a police officer from Spinaceto had been to a concert at the Assago Forum on February 14th - . she would have been infectious there.
Her father, the policeman is in bad shape and on a respirator...
They’re trying to track down people from the concert and the train she took to get there, but this could be a major vector for Italy.

I doubt the veracity of the article. also what billionaire actually discusses his real plans to have them disseminated to the whole world? that goes over well “I plan to hide out in my fortress in xyz while all you peons choke.’
most of those guys are actually smart. I never would assume one is a dummy (though doubtless there are?)
If you hold a dish towel/tea towel up to the light or a well lit window and you can see thru it, those holes in the weave are grand canyon sized openings for a 0.01 virus. If you’re going home-made, you’ll need a nonwoven material like felt with lots of nooks and crannies to trap the particles. Like the filter on a air purifier or fish tank for instance where the static charge of the poly material acts like a magnet.

Cuomo has been playing this straight—he _gets_ it.
Maybe office buildings, schools and nursing homes should have installed operable windows. They’re so worried about the climate but they continue to have fixed windows. They are land locked petri dishes. Install windows that open and maybe we wouldn’t have so many out with the regular flu every year.
Did anyone watch Laura on FOX last night? She had some doctor guy on to talk about the virus and first thing she said was she’d gone to CVS for something earlier because she’s not been feeling well. Hey, GO HOME!
