540am... I’d have shot her, had coffee, then called the cops. Escape from LA...

Here’s the money quote from the criminal trespassers at 5:40 am:

“We rang the doorbell,” told KTLA. “They have a Ring system. They could tell who we were. They know that we’re not violent people.”

Jake from State Farm says, “Uh, NO.”

Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s husband brandished a gun at her
= = =

Jackie Lacey is running for re-election as DA.

Interesting how her husband will or not be charged.

This is Obamas legacy.
Paid for by ‘soros bux’.
Everyone there should have been in handcuffs...

Honey, if you would have rang my doorbell at that time in the morning, I wouldn’t have been brandishing anything. I would have just blown your ass off the porch.

I guess the best he can do is install some sort of sprinkler system that covers the area in a crossfire with a hard spray.

Why is it that it seems the majority of the Black Lives Matter protesters are white folk?

I wonder if the laws regarding brandishing a weapon why on your own property when you have trespassers.

I realize this is California so the law is pretty much what anybody wants it to be.

Sorry but standing inside of your home prepared to defend it if necessary with a firearm pointed down at your side is not brandishing.

Every citizen of every state in the nation has the absolute right of self defense. This man made no threatening motions or movements with the firearm but did, rightfully tell the person that he would defend himself by shooting her if necessary.

This is all about what a reasonable person would have done in the same situation. Any reasonable person who answers their door during the predawn of the early morning should be prepared to defend themselves.

Pepper spray is nice and quiet for that hour of the day.....well, til they start screaming, but their wailing would lull me back to sleep nicely.

I see a lot of tough talk in this thread. Most of which, though morally right, would be guaranteed to land you in jail and likely ruin your life.

I’m betting that even if you just turned the garden hose on the *trespassers* - they are illegally on your property - I think it is likely in LA you’d be charged with simple assault.

Face it folks, we have to carefully consider how we deal with these people in public because in most cases we are at a serious legal disadvantage. Bad laws enforced by complicit police and corrupt prosecutors, but that’s the reality we confront when defending ourselves against these fascist scum.
