A Black Lives Matter activist said Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey's husband brandished a gun at her as she, along with other protesters, rallied outside the couple's home in Granada Hills early Monday morning.
Melina Abdullah, one of the the most vocal Black Lives Matter organizers in Los Angeles, released video of the confrontation she said happened between her and Lacey's husband David at around 5:40 a.m.
The footage opens with a man holding up a firearm at his door saying: "Get off of my porch, right now. Get off." A woman is heard responding: "Good morning. Are you going to shoot me?"
The man replied: "I will shoot you. Get off of my porch. ... Get off of my porch, right now. We're calling the police, right now

540am... I’d have shot her, had coffee, then called the cops. Escape from LA...
A rally at 5:40 a.m.? On her front porch?
Here’s the money quote from the criminal trespassers at 5:40 am:
“We rang the doorbell,” told KTLA. “They have a Ring system. They could tell who we were. They know that were not violent people.”
Jake from State Farm says, “Uh, NO.”
He should have called the zoo and asked if there were any escapes.
5:40 AM? Probably still dark out. I’d have just shot through the door, called the police and went to sleep.

Jackie Lacey is running for re-election as DA.
Interesting how her husband will or not be charged.
My wife and I saw the "Jake From State Farm" commercial yesterday for the first time in a long time. Did you know "Jake" is now a black guy? He used to be a sort of plump white guy. Now he is a slimmer young black guy.
He still wears khakis and a red shirt, though.
Charged with what?
This is Obamas legacy.
Paid for by ‘soros bux’.
Everyone there should have been in handcuffs...
Melina needs to STFU.
Honey, if you would have rang my doorbell at that time in the morning, I wouldn’t have been brandishing anything. I would have just blown your ass off the porch.
Didn’t Joe Biden say to do just that?
She said that with a straight face? HA! Not violent people my lily white backside. A known violent group shows up uninvited on your property, significantly outnumbers you and your family. Refuses to leave... They're lucky he didn't start shooting to stop the threat, because that was a fairly significant threat.
Personally I always answer the door with a loaded firearm - you just never know. I've never had to use it, or even let on that I have it. I've talked to Sheriff's deputies (about a disturbance in the neighborhood), I've shoo'd off solicitors, I've (gladly) bought Girl Scout cookies, paid a local kid to shovel my driveway, gotten pizza delivery... All with a loaded 9mm tucked in my back pocket.
in LA you would have been arrested, charged with murder and convicted. Now, if you shoot them inside your home I would think that would be justifiable.
I don’t even think you could get away with shooting someone on your property in Texas for ringing your doorbell at 5:40 AM.
You haven’t seen them both, or all.
They’re “ALL” named Jake to protect the continuity of the original clip, guessing because the Vince Vaughn-type Guy was popular.
The original Jake is in the next cubicle.
I guess the best he can do is install some sort of sprinkler system that covers the area in a crossfire with a hard spray.

I saw a guy dressed as him for Halloween a few years ago. :-)
Well obviously we need more gun laws. /s
