It could have been the end for Monty the jungle carpet python, who got a bit peckish recently and decided to eat an entire beach towel.
Footage of vet Dr Olivia Clarke and her team extracting it from Monty's stomach was posted online and went viral.

Friend of mine had an iguana which ate a pair of panty hose. She told me that the panty hose came out of the lizard slowly. It walked around dragging the gradually lengthening hose coming out its butt. Said it was really gross.
It sounded really funny since it didn’t happen in my house.
