The patient had recently returned from a cruise ship that departed from San Francisco to Mexico
I believe it’s curtains for the cruise industry for the short term. Definitely “not good”.
I like C-flu. Could stand for corona or China
Evacuate those left into a new quarantine location .
There’s no link.
“Update” bad.
“Upgrade” worse!

there’s no credible evidence that Covid came from a lab in Canada or anywhere else. And that’s with researchers from the US to UK to Australia to Israel to Japan to China saying so.
The way I understand the explanations, every research strain is cataloged. Each strain has a ‘backbone’ that’s identifiable to each lab. An engineered strain uses a known backbone to construct a new version and so would be identifiable. The covid strain does not have a known backbone. And the backbone it does have, has exploitable weaknesses not seen and undesirable in stable lab strains. It hasn’t grown out of its diapers yet, which makes it novel strain. And completely unpredictable as to whether it will mutate a weaker or stronger backbone - and why the freakout
During my time at First Virtual Holdings, Inc we had 50,000 user accounts in a UNIX filesystem managed with TCL code as a database. For scalability, we decided to convert to Sybase. The conversion plan was 142 steps and had to go flawlessly. Our motto that weekend was, "Boring is good". It was a flawless, boring conversion.
Marshall Rose was a big fan of TCL at that time. As such, I had to write all the auth/settlement network code to First USA Paymentech in TCL. It ran on a Windows NT 3.5 machine communicating with their Stratus/VOS system. It got a VERY THOROUGH code review. Once in service, we never needed to touch it again.
Thanks for that!!
Sister is in a nearby town. Said Costco WAS NUTS. Bought TP and food for Mom and Dad.
Dad has a TBI from a surgery years ago, and was going to a well, an adult daycare for a few days a week. That is closed because it was at risk from COVID.
Urgent care’s here in Iowa are full of non flu respiratory viruses.
Let’s just say I am convinced this bug is everywhere.
Do you have any evidence to support your hypothesis?
Is there some secret lab somewhere that created this inoculative strain that you know about?
That then released it because they somehow knew all about the Wuhan CV and wanted to save America? Or were they just randomly releasing inoculative strains into the wild for giggles?
There’s really no way it isn’t already everywhere. How many millions of passengers pass through our airports every day, and expose the airport employees?
I wasn’t criticizing WHAT he was saying. (How could I? What do I know about this?) His demeanor made Bernie look sane and controlled; he ACTED like a whack job — a lunatic.
I know what a hypothesis is, but it’s good you took the time to refresh for yourself. Note that a conspiracy theory is in fact a hypothesis. They are not mutually exclusive.
Do you seriously hypothesize that our government released a free roaming vaccine into our population because they thought the Chinese might let the Wuhan virus loose? Or maybe the Deep State somehow plotted this entire thing - inoculate us, create a disaster for the Chinese and unseat Trump all at once, creating some emergent Establishment hero?
Please, please, do elaborate on your hypothesis, it is fascinating.
BREAKING: City of San Antonio fails to win temporary restraining order to keep evacuees quarantined at Lackland
The city of San Antonio went into court Monday and unsuccessfully sought a temporary restraining order to stop the federal government from releasing more than 120 coronavirus evacuees from quarantine at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.
The failed motion came just hours after the city and Bexar County each declared a local state of disaster and public health emergency over the impending release of 122 evacuees from the Diamond Princess cruise ship.
Local officials have tried a series of maneuvers in an attempt to gain control of the quarantine from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, after the mistaken release Saturday of an evacuee who still had the virus in her system.
In its court filing, the city argued that allowing those quarantined to leave Monday, as scheduled, would threaten public safety. They requested that the evacuees be quarantined for another two weeks.
But U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez denied the request, noting the federal governments determination that a 14-day quarantine and two negative tests for the virus are sufficient to prevent transmission or spread of COVID-19. The court, Rodriguez wrote further, has no authority to second-guess those determinations even though the Court also shares the concerns expressed by the Plaintiffs.
Despite the blow, the judges ruling indicated that local officials may still have recourse in the matter issuing their own quarantine orders using the pair of emergency declarations filed earlier in the day.
