Welll...if I was wrong. I wanted to apologize....
(Ive been wrong a few times in my life.)
Tell that to the 3.5% or so people globally who have wound up dead from Coronavirus.
There's a lot of misinformation out there..please don't add to it.
The Passionate Eye: Coronavirus
PS: I download everything I watch from private sites so I have no idea how you can watch this using Netflix, your cable tv service or whatever.
Already done, to the best of my ability, and that includes my adult kids & g'kids. No way this is contained and I don't blame anyone but the stinking, rotten communist Chinese.
It's in Italian (i think) so you'll have to use translate.
The virus is here. Everywhere
Yep, gene sequencing in WA state shows community spread for at least six weeks there.
So how are all these other countries doing testing? Heck even one has a drive up testing ...
What’s going on?!! Yes it has me ticked off.
From the above article “”The main problem - he concludes - is that hundreds of reanimation beds are occupied by coronavirus patients”.”
I am old enough to remember the hysteria that surrounded poliomyelitis, or infantile paralysis, every summer season when it seemed to reach its peak. Only with the advent of the Salk-Sabin vaccination protocol was this dread disease with its capricious range of symptoms and after-effects brought under some kind of control.
Probably the actual infection was far more widespread than reports of the time indicated, as many cases were of such mild nature that it was no worse than a bad summer cold, while other infections became life-threatening or left the afflicted with lifelong disabilities. Such treatments as the “iron lung” and extended muscular retraining exercise were in wide practice during those times.
But defeat polio we did. Now, youngsters have no idea that the world has faced these kinds of threats before, and somehow, the bulk of humanity survived them. There have been some bad scares both before and since, and either the disease runs its course, or the pool of natural and contracted immunes grows to the degree that the disease is effectively checked.
Amazing how this thing has progressed, since that first thread of just over a month ago.
He was on the cruise ship that was quarantined.
(Tin foil hat on)Any possibility China is using corona-19 to exterminate some healthy people?
Common sense tells you there are more cases in metro NYC than in metro Seattle (for example), but there has just been more testing and analysis in metro Seattle.
Certainly hope you're right, but living with leukemia and having a past history of respiratory ailments makes one wonder.
Good thing you were able to stock up :)
A friend sent a pic of our nearby Costco....completely empty shelves in the TP area.
seeing all kinds of crazy stuff on twitter about Iran...including a team 300,000 including military to go house to house looking for paitents

@aliostad
Coronavirus epidemy in Iran has past the crisis level. The country is imploding - law and order to disappear in the next days. A number of officials already died and mass infection among hospital staff and police forces reported.
Good points.
The hospital lab people with SARS testing experience will master this system quickly.
It appears to be too complicated for most lab techs.

It will all work out in the end. If it hasnt worked out, its not the end. But in the meantime its a mean time.
Great, some guy known as “null and void” is offering guarantees that the corona cootie does not kill people. Very convincing.
