Supply chain-dependent businesses, which is nearly everything.

Makes sense.

I don’t see it available OTC yet, but I guess it is coming. (And I of course hope it is just coincidental timing!)
Governor Cuomo Delivers Update on Novel Coronavirus (3 mins)
"Comments are turned off"
Boy am I late to this party
Supply chains can move - not quickly - but customers can take years to return, killing small businesses that have small margins like restaurants.

According to early releases from CDC, the original reagent test panels were only compatible with 1 specific piece of equipment, the Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast DX Real-Time PCR Instrument. If your lab didn’t have the equipment AND was “certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) to perform high complexity tests”, then no test for you. They are now making kits that are compatible with equipment that is much more common is small labs and hospitals.
Great gif, thanks.

The latest case in King county WA is 13 miles from my residence.
Yay!

I’ll let everyone know when I get it.
But again those are still likely just the most severe cases. The actual percentages are almost assuredly lower.
