I think that we should have one thread where everybody on Free Republic Can list their concerns about the Coronavirus.
It’s simply becoming too time consuming to keep up with all the different Coronavirus concern threads that keep popping up every few minutes.
This way, we can all be on the record on one thread with our concerns about the Coronavirus.

Octos. That’s what I called my group of Octogenarians. I had six that I started taking care of in 2011. I have one left.
I see kids give their partially demented Octo parents iPads and stuff. Then every time they go see them the iPad isn’t used because the old demented Octo has no idea what they are doing.
I am sure there are plenty of non demented Octos on FR that do just fine. But we have ALL seen this happen. As an observer it’s hilarious.
Watching what most people do to care for their elders is literally pathetic. But some of it is funny.
My only concern is how people freak out about the latest scary illness every freaking time. LEARN PEOPLE. Zika. SARTS. Swine 2. Bird flu. Swine 1. Over and over and over. The same drum gets beaten and the same idiots march to it then nothing happens but they don’t learn.

My concern is no one I talk to even brings up the virus.
As I said...it doesn’t mean I don’t “care” about you. You know in a human to human way.
I had an association to, and still have many connections in the CDC.
Personally, I have never flipped out about any of the illnesses you mentioned. Not even a little.
This one, however, is worrying.

No but I have a good John Kerry story. When my wife was a brand new reporter she covered a John Kerry for Lt Governor event. Kerry went around and hit on every young reporter. My wife was about 22-23 at the time. He hit on one of the TV reporters and she got into the Limo ride to the next stop.
Let’s just say Johnny wasted no time. And let’s says not only was it a disappointment visually, Johnny wasted no time then as well. The term used was “small disappointment.”
And it is amazing the JK was not called out in all the #Metoo stuff.
