It is the little things that tell me the long term outlook for the Republican Party and the country is doubtful. My fellow Republicans are stupid, really stupid.
I am listening to last night's Trump rally and I am disgusted. When Trump talks about trade and bringing back manufacturing THE REPUBLICANS IN ATTENDANCE REMAIN SILENT. Shame on Republicans. Shame.
I didn’t watch the rally last night very closely, but I think those lines have gotten cheers at earlier ones. But this is a time when Trump should really emphasis bringing factories back, with all the current examples of how reliant our stupid and self-destructive trade polices have made us for so many products: prescription and non-prescription medicines, dietary supplements, and the long list of safety products that are now in short supply, or out of stock most places. And that’s just a beginning.
This is the perfect time to talk about how reliant we are on China, and how dangerous that can be.
The seem to be charged up to me watching it so far. Perhaps you can point me to the time you are talking about. The crowd outside was as large outside as it was inside.

Follow the money, they aren’t stupid. Their investment portfolio is more important than you having a job. Ever wonder how much is invested in other countries that are producing American products? Many of the Congress critters (Both Parties and the Independent ones too.) have sticky fingers, you can count on it. Greed rules!
The silent treatment towards trade and manufacturing happens at EVERY rally and not just last night. I finally noticed what was bothering me.

Some serious GOP introspection is really in order.
The GOP is dead. There are Trump supporters and everyone else. The Democrat party is dead. There are Bernie supporters and everyone else. After decades of the reigning political parties surrendering their values (except in campaign speeches), the two parties have merged into The Swamp. They served monied interests and sold the rest of us out. People are fleeing The Swamp Left and Right. After this election, there will be no more GOP and no more Democrat party. It’s Trump et al vs The Communists. I am confident the new America First party will win.
Hard to argue with that point. No elected Repuke has the fire in the belly, nationalist bent that is needed to keep this nation prosperous and safe.
You do realize he talks about 20 - 30 topis each speech? The response to each is always different except what the subject is trade and manufacturing. Then the response is always the same - DEAD SILENCE.

Did I say that? I said perhaps you can point to the time you are discussing, so I can see for myself. Without viewing I can’t make any guess as to why, but I have seen numerous other rallies and the crowd reaction is what you wish the crowd reaction should be in S.C. I do not want to take the time to watch the entire rally at this point in time. If that is asking too much, then I will just move along and skip the discussion.
He made a valid observation illustrating republicans (The Stupid Party) are not united behind Trump or they are too F’ing stoopid to understand trade and manufacturing concepts.

Perhaps trade and manufacturing are not something South Carolinians relate to? The crowd loves Trump, that is obvious, if they cannot see how these things, trade & manufacturing positively affect them, then perhaps they are stupid. After all they keep sending Linda Graham to the Senate. 8>)
