Is Don Junior eligible? His mother was Czech. Not sure when she became a citizen.

And another thing.
You are assuming those attending the rally are all GOP.
I believe the records show a high percentage are NOT republicans, but nonvoters, dems , or independents.
I would take care to not become a chicken little.

>>In reality when Trump talks about bringing back manufacturing - SILENCE????!!! WHAT????

Maybe they just wanted to listen to what the man had to say... Not everything has to be responded to by “Beatle-mania” type hysterics.

Ignorance is what it is.
I want an America that makes things, builds things.

I don’t want to work for Amazon.
I see ports full of containers where hundred of thousands had factory jobs there 30 years ago.

People don’t know what he is talking about, that’s the problem.
A disconnect.

This thread is getting a bit tedious.

Not everything Trump says is going to get cheers, laughter, whatever ...

But the overall level of enthusiasm at these Trump rallies is like nothing I’ve ever seen.

Let’s all take a deep breath and look at the big picture.

My university background is in economics, so I can say with some confidence that economics — vital though it may be — just isn’t going to get people’s juices flowing like a good hard swipe at Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, or any of the RAT presidential candidates.

Talking about trade, by its very nature, just doesn’t have the same visceral appeal.

So, please, everyone on this thread, just calm down. There’s enough to worry about without turning over every last stone looking for more problems.

I didn’t see that! Were we listening to the same rally?

I was there and cheering the whole time. I had a great view but the speakers weren’t aimed toward my section and he was hard to hear.

What a ridiculous petty complaint for a great rally. Thanks for Greta-ing all over it. Shame indeed.

I know that some things will never be made in the USA again. That said, manufacturing is coming back. Kent Bikes are making some bikes in South Carolina, boats and RVs are made in America and BMW are made in South Carolina...

That said, if I could find an American made model N scale locomotive for $150 dollars, I'd buy it, but most are made in China...

I was there and cheering the whole time.

There is not cheering the whole time. I've been to a Trump rally before. He will get enthusiastic Republican support and cheering for CERTAIN issues like the border, sod busting and oil exploration. Other issues Trump is pushing, like protectionism and nationalism, he is met with DEAD SILENCE.

Sometimes they just stay quiet as a courtesy to the one talking...my son was at the rally - about 10 rows out and directly in front of the stand - and enjoyed the heck out of it.

He is not being “booed” with people leaving for the exits. They are probably listening and thinking.

It is clear their is no rank and file enthusiasm shown among rally goers for when the topics are protectionism, tariffs or repatriation of industry. No enthusiasm shown what so ever. I have noticed this at every Trump CPAC speech and campaign rally.

A jinxed supply chain due to disruptions in the source countries is a complex issue that might haver gone over many heads, but they’ll learn fast enough as shortages loom.
